Reading Interests of Senior Middle School Students
Recent, scivery has been done to find out the reading interests of senior middle school
students. In this sruvey,one thousand senior middle school students from ten schools in Hubei
Province were interviewed.They were asked which they liked reading most among the four
categories of English articles,news,stories,popular science articles and articles about learning
methods.
The survey shows that more than half of the students like to read news most. Twenty-
sixpercent of the students say that English stories are their favorite.Only seven percent of the
students are most interested in reading articles about learning methods.However,the number of
students who enjoy reading popular science articles doubles that of those who prefer reading
articles about learning methods.

【命题立意】今年江苏卷高考作文题目为《品味时尚》，仍延续了近年来江苏高考作文题目让考生有话说，有东西写的命题理念。如果说，2006年的命题作文“人与路”考察点侧重于作为个体的人和作为客体的“路”之间的关系辩证，2007年的命题作文“怀想天空”侧重于探究人的精神空间，2008年的作文题目侧重于人的内心世界的挖掘的话，那么2009年的作文题目则是侧重于人与时代潮流的交融共生。
【审题分析】此题与2007年的“怀想天空”同为动宾式短语结构，“怀想天空”在写作时不仅要写出哪一种“天空”，还要侧重于“怀想”；“品味时尚”则要求考生不仅仅是写到时尚，还必须兼顾“品味”。考生在审题时要注意“咬文嚼字”，以免偏离题意。第一，是“品味”而不是“品位”，“品味”作动词讲的意思是仔细体会、玩味，而“品位”的通用意义为人或事物的品质、水平。考生完全可以写“有品位”的时尚，但如果没有写出“品味”则有些偏题；第二，是“时尚”而不是“时髦”，“时尚”的含义是当时的或者时兴的风尚；“时髦”的意思是形容人的装饰衣着或其他事物新颖入时。比较“时尚”与“时髦”不难发现，前者比后者的外延要广阔得多，举凡物质、精神等方面，都可以纳入“时尚”的品味视野。
【写作指导】从文体上看，此题记叙文或议论文都可以写，但是想写好都不容易。一般来说，写记叙文在内容选材上容易撞车，而写议论文又容易流于固定的结构套路。
如果写记叙文，首先要突出记叙的价值或意义。既然是“品味”，就要品出些或酸或甜或苦或辣的某种味道，不能东拉西扯地泛泛记叙自己生命中某些时段的不同的品味时尚，那是没有价值或意义的。其次，写记叙文还必须突出品味的“过程”，正是因为这一“过程”，才有对时尚的深刻洞察。换句话说，本题目写记叙文时的笔墨重心与“时尚”为何物关系不大，关键是要详细写出具体品味的故事情节。
如果写议论文，首先要鲜明突出议论的观点，尽量不要模棱两可，认为“有好有坏”的观点貌似全面，实则在行文中极难自圆其说，到头来两面都没有论证透彻，反不如“剑走偏锋”，抓住一面进行深入讨论。其次，写议论文还要注意论证的着力点要准确到位，不能忽东忽西。此题在论证角度上有许多突破口。可以论证“怎样”来品味时尚，突出对品味“方法”的指导（如精准的眼光、批判的意识、审美的胸襟等）；可以论证品味时尚的“什么”，突出品味“内容”的列举（如时尚的高低雅俗、时尚的文化内涵、时尚的人文魅力等）。还可以论证品味时尚的“好处”，突出对品味“结果”的描述（如与时俱进的心态、力争上游的抱负、朝气蓬勃的气度等）。
【高分策略】写记叙文，要注意对文章主题意义的发掘，注意对叙事文采的提升，注意选材要相对集中并且与众不同（一般写精神上的时尚如‘怀旧’、‘非主流’等不容易撞车）。写议论文要注意不盲目套用“三段论”等固定结构模式，注意观点的鲜明和论证的透彻，注意论证的方法要灵活多变，语言要简洁明快而不失睿智。
