可以通过对去年高频话题的总结，看出雅思大作文常考的题目，从而进行针对性练习

从去年话题分布来看，9大类写作话题中唯有环境类未有涉及。其中社会类的考察比重有所上升(18次，占全年考题37.5%)，其次是教育类(12次，占全年考题25%)以及科技类(7次，占全年考题14.5%)；然后就是政府类、媒体类、文化类、全球化类和犯罪类。全球化和犯罪类考频最低，仅各考2次，其它低频话题集中出现在上半年。然而这并不意味着这些话题的复习就可以忽略，因为此类话题对比较专业的素材表达和固定搭配要求较高，需要有目的的积累，避免万一碰到无话可写的情况。

总而言之，高频考题必然要加强联系，对于较少考查的类型也要有意识地积累相关的素材和词汇，以防万一。除此之外，若是碰到了较新的考题也不必慌乱，找出题目中的关键词尽可能的往自己梳理过的素材表达想法，利用自己的素材库进行充分的论述。

写作分析：本文源自“雅思救星”。

本周，上海的考生迎来了一场开门红——流程图。许多烤鸭对流程图谈之色变，怀有很浓重的抵触情绪。实际上，流程图只是个小怪物。我们只要正确对待它，其实流程图并不难解。

流程图的写作需要注意以下几个方面。第一，时态问题。大多数流程图描述的是制造某个产品的过程或是某个原理，属于一般事实情况，因此大多为一般现在时。第二，分段。流程图的分段较为灵活。单张图的情况下，可以根据各步骤分成两到三段。两张图或以上的情况下，则每图一段。第三，顺序词，文章中要用清晰的顺序词将每个步骤清晰的表示出来，如at the beginning of the process, then, next等等。第四，被动语态。流程图为体现客观性，避免人称的出现，基本上采用被动语态句式。第五，烤鸭们在平时的练习中，需要积累一些特定的表动作的词语，如grind, transfer, roast, rotate, melt等等。

本周的流程图实际早在09年就已经考过类似题目，之后又出现过几次，可谓是出场率很高的经典题目。这次的题目稍有改动，但基本思路一致，我们可以根据地点的不同用三个主体段来描写。具体内容如下：

写作思路：

Body 1: 瓶子按三种颜色分类进行收集(separately collected according to colors of bottles)，之后利用卡车将收集到的瓶子运送至processing plant去。

Body 2: 在处理工厂中，瓶子首先根据其瓶盖将其分为两类(metal tops and plastic tops)，之后将两类瓶子分别粉碎(glass bottles are broken into pieces)。然后, 玻璃碎片被送至glass factory。

Body 3: 在玻璃工厂中，玻璃碎片(broken pieces of glass)和其他原材料(raw materials)一起放进熔炉里熔化成液体玻璃(melted into liquid)。最后(entering the final stage of this process)，融化的混合物被制作成了新的玻璃瓶。

20140111：Nowadays many young people choose to change their jobs frequently, eg. after a few years. What are the causes of the situation? Do the advantage outweigh the disadvantage?

考题分析：

大作文考试是混合型文体，由reason + argument组成。往常的议论部分通常出现的问法是is it a positive trend或是do you think it is true等，这次则提问了正反双边。

文章结构很简单，除去开头结尾，文章正文可分为三段。正文首段介绍原因，接下类两段分别介绍优点和缺点，但需注意的是，由于本题目提问优点多还是缺点多，因此在这两段的篇幅上要去侧重于自己倾向的那一方面。原因部分也可以从正反两个角度去考量，一方面可能是自身能力不够，另一方面可能是公司不能满足自身发展的需求，需要改变环境。

内容参考：

Body1: 年轻人频繁跳槽的原因可能是复杂而多方面的(complex and manifold)。最为常见的一个原因是年轻人希望寻求更好的发展(better career development)。原先的公司可能并不认可年轻人的工作(value the work of young people),或是发展受到了限制。另一个可能的原因(potential cause)是自身无法很好的融入原公司的工作环境，不能胜任自己的共工作。

Body 2: 频繁更换工作(frequent job-hopping)很可能会让年轻人在将来难以找到心仪的公司。如今，大多数公司倾向于雇佣忠诚度较高的员工(high loyalty)，因为人才流失会使得公司损失大笔的培养成本。

Body 3: 然而，从年轻人的角度来讲，更换工作可以不断挑战自己(challenge themselves)，挖掘自身的潜能(tap the potential)。另一方面，跳槽也有利于找到年轻人最适合的工作。

我觉得首段和尾段观点很清晰，每段句首的中心句的使用也不错，+
论证：第二段，一般，表达上其实没什么问题，但是你只不过分项说了不同渠道可以给提供信息，其实还不如整合了一起讲，然后谈谈是哪些信息。如：

There is no doubt that much can be learned about various cultures from books, TV programs and websites nowadays that provide detailed information about local customs, architectures, food, arts and sports ....
第三段中心句的表达应做一些变化了，而不是一直重复books, films, internet. (这跟第二段几乎一样）。论证上虽然算有层次，但感觉力度一般，而且次序可以调整一下以体现力度。比如直接接触和交流再加上实地观察可以放第一个比详论之，之后再论其他点。
如：However, the second-hand experience obtained from reading books or watching TV can never be the same as what one sees and experiences in person. ....

由于时间关系无法展开太多。不过看得出来你的英语功底是在的，语法及拼写错误算挺少的。在有限的时间里能写到以上的那些点也已经不错了。
综上，我预测你的写作分数不出意外的话会是：6-6.5，如果大方点可看到7，严厉点的话5.5也是有可能。不过5.5的话，可能问题是在于你的词汇量的点缀不够漂亮（因为高频句型你用得很明显）以及论证地不够力度。不过考官审稿的时间也不长，除非非常老练否则也不见得那么仔细。所以预计是6-6.5最后。

It is noticeable that the whole area for indoor activity has been expanded over the 10-year period. The most significant changeis that the initial garden was replaced by inner sports.

Inhabitants can enter the reception through a door as before. In the center of the community center, there is a hall which can accommodate 100 people at the sametime, and this is also the same as before. However, the large storage room northto the hall, has been divided into two parts today, namely, a smallerstorage and toilets.

The coffee bar is no longer a part of the community center. Instead, an office equipped with toilets has taken itsplace. Also, four offices in the northeast corner and the storage opposite tothe kitchen disappeared. A newly-built café area occupies thisarea and is open to all visitors currently. Finally, the kitchen and parking lot are still in use.
