The advantages of being careful with money in daily life
Nowadays, there is a hot debate on whether people, including students should be careful with their money in their daily life since they try their best to save money. Some people think it is not good to do so because this may not make people smart consumers. But in my eyes, the advantages of being careful with money in daily life outweigh the disadvantages.
First, being careful with money is a virtue that can always benefit people. Being thrifty is of great help, especially when the economic status around the world is not very good and it becomes harder to earn money than before. A good habit of being careful with money will help many people go through this difficult period or any other difficult financial situation in their life. People with this awareness will think carefully before deciding to buy anything. For students, this awareness is also of great help since they mainly depend on their parents for financial supports. When they keep this awareness in their mind, they will definitely avoid wasting money.
Secondly, being careful with money is, in fact, a good way of practicing how to manage one's money. In current society, it is necessary to learn something about finance. 这次监考看到来这个题目，也确自实有些吃惊，因为以往都是三段式的说明议论参半的文章，这次是关于端午节的庆祝，从作文的要求来看，写出自己知道的和说明庆祝的方式，感觉似乎是对背景知识的考察，学生们也都提到了屈原，龙舟赛等情节，也有同学提到了这个节日的意义，似乎也只能这么写了。我认为在字数为200的专四作文中，内容同质化会影响到单词和句型的同质化，但也同时会更容易看出合格和不合格的作文，结合这次专四有了问卷调查，可能是专四的改革方向，也许会把专四的难度降低，变成准则参照性考试也说不定。

我也是来今年的考生，感觉今年的源题总体上有点非主流。从单选到作文的改革，都是比较新的。据说今年是北外出题的。 当时我拿到这个作文题目也很纠结，不知从何入手，以往背的三段式的模板完全没用。。但是最后还是写三段式的（题目要求是写两个部分part 1和 part2)。我问了下老师，老师说写三段也没关系，只是不要机械的生搬硬套就好。只要写出了题目中的要求（端午节的相关情况、来历、如何庆祝的）就应该能得分。我个人认为今年是第一次出这样的题，很多考生都会出现向我们这样类似的情况，改卷老师应该会稍微松一点。再者，我听说每道题的得分是与全国考生在本道试题的平均分是有关的，也就是说全国平均分越高你得分就会相对偏低，反之亦然。。。不管怎么说，考过去了就不要再想了。没什么意义，等到十月份成绩出来一切都知道了。呵呵。祝我们好运。。

No one in China has failed to notice that goods arewrapped(包装)in flaring(华美的，花哨的)boxes or bags. Taking a look around，we can find examples with ease：a small computer is packed in a thick and heavy(又厚又重)carton，clothes are puttedin a well-designed plastic bags(塑料袋)which printed various kinds of patterns and colorsand so on.
What are the causes of this problem?On the one hand, in order to earn more economic gains(经济收益), a considerable number of (很多)manufactures usually wraptheir procts with unnecessary but appealing(吸引人的)materialsaiming at attracting customer’s attention , arousing their curiosity and then stimulating their purchasing desire (吸引顾客的注意力并引发他们的好奇心). On the other hand, quite a fewcustomers believe that the more delicatethe package seems，the superior the quality will be(包装越精美，产品质量就越好),the notion has also encouraged the trend of excessive packaging. However, the emergence of excessive package(过度包装)has given rise to(导致)many undesirable consequences that can’t be neglected (不容忽视). For one thing，it is a waste of precious and limited natural resources，which will thus pose underlying(潜在的) threat to our offspring generation(子孙后代). For another, customers are often deceived by artificialexternal packing rather than being provided with high-quality goods .
To change this situation, I think we should take the following measures. First, laws must be made and implemented to impose restriction on (实行限制)excessive packaging. Second, a public ecation campaign should be launched to arouse customers' consciousness (意识)that packaging doesn't equal to quality, and also let them know the bad impact of it. Only in this way can we put an end to this trend (结束这种趋势).
