任伯年个人生平

任伯年是清末著名画家，名颐，真名任工，字伯年，号小楼，浙江山阴人，后到上海，三十年中以卖画为生。擅长人物、花鸟画，是晚清“海上画派”的首领人物和杰出代表，与任熊、任熏、任预合称“上海四任”，又与蒲华、虚谷、吴昌硕合称“上海四大家”。

任伯年自幼聪慧，曾在十几岁青年时期，在太平天国的军中“掌大旗”，直到天京沦陷，任伯年才回家乡，后至上海随任熊、任熏学画。以后长期在上海以卖画为生。任伯年为人率真，不修边幅，学画时近30岁，画多而名声渐大，但其身心深受鸦片之害，损伤元气，导致年仅56岁就过早去世。

任伯年是我国近代绘画史上杰出的画家，徐悲鸿说他是“仇十洲之后，中国画家第一人。”英国《画家》杂志认为：“任伯年的艺术造诣与西方梵高相若，在十九世纪中为最具有创造性的宗师。”代表作有《三友图》、《酸寒尉象》、《献瑞图》、《锺馗》、《承天夜游图》、《野塘雨后》等。
