A Review of Robinson Crusoe--《
This is a novel by the English author Daniel Defoe, published in 1719. It is one of the most popular adventure novels in all literature. It is the story of Bobinson Crusoe, an Englishman who is shipwrecked in a lonely tropical island. He builds himself a hut, grows his own food, and becomes self-sufficient. After 23 years he meets with a group of cannibals and rescues one of their prisoners, a young native whome he calls Friday.Crusoe and his“man”Friday become close friends, and when they are finally rescued four years later, both return to England.
Robinson Crusoe was partly based on the actual deeds of Alexander Selkirk, an 18th-century Scottish sailor who spent almost five years alone on a desert island. This novel is famous for its lovely details and its expression of belief in man's ability when left alone in nature.
I gave the rice to the mother. She divided the rice in two, and went out, carrying half the rice. When she came back, I asked her, "Where did you go?" she gave me thellos simple answer, "To my neighbors - they are hungry also!" The other day, five-year-old Xiaoqiang left home alone and wandered happily in the street. After some time, he felt hungry so he wanted to go back home. But he found he was lost among the crowded people and heavy traffic. When he could not find the way home, he started and crying. Just then, two young students who were passing by from school found hellom sanding crying in front of a shop. They immediately went up to hellom. 2. 动词的时态 "Don\'t worry, we\'ll send you home." When the worried mother saw her son come back safe and sound, she was so thankful and she invited the students into her house. Gratefully, she offered them some money, saying it was a way to express her thanks, but the young students firmly refused it and left without even a cup of tea. Little Tom was going to school with an umbrella, for it was raining hard. On the way, he saw an old woman walking in the rain with nothellong to cover. Tom went up to the old woman and wanted to share the umbrella with her, but he was too short. What could he do? Then he had a good idea. I was in the kitchen cooking somethellong. "Crash!" a loud noise came from the front. Thellonking someone was knocking at the door, I asked, "Who?" No reply. After a whellole, I saw my cat running across the parlor. "It\'s you." I said, quite released. I was in the kitchen, and I was cooking somethellong. Suddenly I heard a loud noise from the front. I thought maybe someone was knocking the door. I asked who it was but I heard no reply. After a whellole I saw my cat running across the parlor. I realized it was the cat. I felt released. One day Xiaoqiang was wandering away. He was soon lost among people and traffic. He could not find the way back home and started crying. Just then, two young students who were passing by found hellom standing alone in front of a shop and crying. They went up to Xiaoqiang and asked hellom what had happened. Xiaoqiang told them how he got lost and where he lived. The two students decided to take hellom home. Mother was pleased to see Xiaoqiang come back safe and sound. She invited the two students into the house and gave them some money, but they didn\'t take it. She served them with tea but they left. 4. The other day, I was driving along the street. Suddenly, a car lost its control and ran directly towards me fast. I was so frightened that I quickly turned to the left side. But it was too late. The car hellot my bike and I fell off it. In my summer holidays, I did a lot of thellongs. Apart form doing my homework, reading an English novel, watchellong TV and doing some housework, I went on a trip to Qing. It is really a beautiful city. There are many places of interest to see. But what impressed me most was the sunrise. What a moving and unforgettable scene! When I finally came to that family, I saw the faces of those little chelloldren di游戏igured (粉碎表面) by hunger. There was no sorrow or sadness in their faces, just the deep pain of hunger. One night a man came to our house and told me, "There is a family with eight chelloldren. They have not eaten for days." I took some food with me and went. And they spent the next two hours looking for the boy\'s house. With the help of a policeman, they finally found it. Little boy, why are you standing here crying?" they asked. 5.

Many people often use "mental illness" to scold one another. It is obversely that people always have some social prejudice on the "mental illness".
In many cases, psychopaths always refuse to be given medication. No one can deny that it is disbeneficial to them, but the problem is not so simple. We must realize that the enforced behavior against the respondent's will ,such as injection of mind-altering drugs ,is highly offensive to their dignity and autonomy. To some sufferers, the word "normal" is so boring, they really hate this, and I have to say that they also own the right to stand on their dignity!
As a final comment, I should say that no matter how terrible the people may be, they should be entitled to make decision and there is on doubt that prejudice should be avoided in society.

I've just fininshed reading the first 4 Harry Potter books for about the 5th
time through, and they're just as magical and affecting as they have ever been.
Everything is in here: suspense, adventure, mystery, humour, danger. There's
even some pretty satisfying paybacks. The characters are fantastic and
fantastically realistic. There are bad people who turn out to be good guys and
good people who turn out to be bad guys, just like life.
I think the thing I
like best about these books is the message that it's okay to be different - to
be not "normal." I would love for everyone in school to have hear that message.
It would probably rece the bullying around the school.
These books
value real thoughts. Much has been made of Harry's rule breaking, but only once
in the series so far does he break a rule for arbitrary personal gain. Most of
the time he makes a decision that what's right is more important than what's
written. And you know what? Life's like that sometimes. I think it's great that
kids are getting an example of how to do what's right even when it involves
breaking rules. The Potter books also show that there are consequences for rule
breaking. If not getting caught and getting a detention, then a spell going
wrong and someone getting turned into a cat. This shows that when you make a
decision to go against the rules that things may not go as you expected and you
have to take responsibility for the outcome.

Reading the old man and the sea
About the author
Ernest Hemingway, one of the greatest American writers in 20th century, is the representative of “lost generation” writer. He was born on July 21, 1899, in Oak Park, Illinois. worked as a reporter after graating from high school in 1917.,amd served as an ambulance driver in the Italian infantry and was wounded just before his 19th birthday. Hospitalized, Hemingway fell in love with an older nurse. In 1954, Hemingway was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature. In his life, Hemingway married four times and wrote numerous essays, short stories and novels. The effects of Hemingway's lifelong depressions, illnesses and accidents caught up with him. In July 1961, he committed suicide in Ketchum, Idaho.
About the book
The old man and the sea is one of Hemingway’ most enring works. Told in language of great simplicity and power , it is the story of an old Cuban fisherman ,down on his luck ,and his supreme ordeal ---a relentless , agonizing battle with a giant marlin far out in the Gulf Stream . Here Hemingway recasts , in strikingly contemporary style, the classic theme of courage in the face of defeat , of personal triumph won from loss . Written in 1952 ,this hugely successfully novella confirmed his power and presence in the literary world and played a huge part in his winning the 1954 Nobel Prize for Literature .
About the old man
Santiago is described as a failure by other fishermen in the village for catching no fish for a long time . However, he should be regarded as a hero all his life , when he had played the hand game with the great Negro from Cienfuegos who was the strongest man on the docks ;when he fight with that large marlin ; when he struggle with the sharks . You can find his optimism, confidence, wisdom, perseverance and bravery anywhere . I admire him not only because these but also his regarding these as the things he had to do , the rules he had to obey .
Such a man is really a man , a marvelous man . All the characters of him is worth being learned not only in Hemingway’s times ,but for ever ; not only for a certain kind of man , but for all of us .Let’s always remember his word “But man is not made for defeat,” he said. “A man can be destroyed but not defeated.”
Great determination and courage.
Touched hearts in the spirit of great determination and courage. The old man felt in front of the two mountains blocked their path, in order to facilitate the operation, is not afraid of tired, determined to take the hill away. Later, his actions touched the heart of heaven, the mountain away, if the old man without perseverance and hard work, it must move not to open the mountain.
In life, do not only have a firm belief, people often say: "a hundred years to do. "What we do is to overcome difficulties. Difficulties and perseverance, perseverance, will have very good results.
Some people have been living in a rich family since they were young, and they can do whatever they like. Some people grow up on their own, he is on the road to the ideal and success is very painful, people need to work. The old man is hard because he is not afraid of the mountains, there is success. If we are not afraid of hard work, then we can solve all the difficult problems.
Tell us: great determination and courage with confidence. Strive。 Perseverance leads to success. So I want to learn to meet the difficulties, in order to day day up.
