老挝的国语是老挝语phaasaalaao，也称寮语，在老挝说英语还没有普及，并且他内们说的英语，你要听懂很困容难，除非是在万象，那边英语还基本可以，但是在其它地方，要用英语交流，还是没有想象中那么容易，更不会说到普及程度！说出一句英语，你要很努力很努力才能听懂，因为他们的英语带着口音很重的！有些发音又不清楚，就像中国人讲英语也有自己的不足一样，如果是要去老挝旅游的话，先买本书好好学习一下，练习一下老挝的基本常用语，到时候交流起来就方便多了。
另外，语言不通还有一些其它办法可以化解，比如：
1、提前把关键地名提前用中文写在手抄本上（中老双文对照）
2、在餐厅吃饭的时候可以看图说话、商业区或旅游景区遇到中国人可以求助他们
3、带上中文的老挝地图、手机装个翻译软件（旅行翻译官）
4、还可以加上肢体语言配合。

Lao food is traditionally eaten with sticky rice using fingers. In the countryside, people all eat as family style, sitting on the floor, sharing a few dishes. Lao traditional food is dry, spicy and very delicious based on fish, buffalo meat, pork, poultry and especially herbs. It is always being freshly prepared and not being preserved. Other than sticky rice, which can be eaten either sweet or sour, or fermented and is eaten with fingers, Laotian food is very rich in vegetables and is often browned in coconut oil.

对于公司名称取名是很自由的，那公司名称的话英文是必须要有，中文名称可有可无，可以是以英文名称直接注册，但是只注册中文名称没有英文名称是不行的。

离岸公司命名自由, 前面可以加任意地名,如美国,法国,意大利或中国,上海等等地名
中间可加上,集团、实业、发展、等等字眼
公司的中英文名称不要求一一对应,

⑷ 老挝地名“北本”的英文是什么 “北本”与“北宾”是一回事吗“北宾”似乎是Pakbeng。
“北本”是哪个省的地名?是市、县还是村?

Pakbeng的音译不会是“北宾”啊版,那是个权Pak打头的,译过来应该是“巴”.例如“巴讪”--“Pakxan”.所以应该也是一个河口的村镇或城市.
“北本”与“北宾”应该不是一回事.老挝语里“本”和“宾”这两个音很容易区分,各自很清晰,应该不会是同一个.
至于你说的这两个地名,我都没有听说过,总觉得译的有问题.你再查实一下.
