Surfing the internet has alot of applications, lf which the most useful is its convenievce. For example, someone can work at home with the internet instead lf going to the company. Besides, people can read the latest news, send e-mail, see films and go shopping online. They don't have to waste a lot of time or energy going from one place to another.
However, every coin has two sides, Internet is not exception. Surfing the Internet too long is bad for health. Some students even stay date and night playing computer games, and as a restult, they may sleep in the class. It will have a negative effect on their study. Therefore, we students should not be addicted to Internet and never forget our responsibility.

Surfing is the term is used for a surface water sport in which the person surfing moves along the face of a breaking ocean wave (the "surf"). However, surfing is not restricted to saltwater, but can sometimes take place on rivers, using a standing wave.
The main use of the word "surfing" is for riding waves using a board on which the surfer stands. Other forms include bodyboarding, in which the indivial riding the wave only partly raises his upper body from the board surface, and from bodysurfing, where no board at all is used.
