8、能在地球仪上利用经、纬网确定地球上任何一个地点的位置。
9、地球的自转：
方向：自西向东；周期：一天（24小时）；自转中心：地轴。
地理意义：产生了昼夜更替和时间的差异。
10、地球的公转：
公转中心：太阳；方向：自西向东；周期：一年；公转轨道：椭圆。
地理意义：产生了季节的变化和昼夜长短的变化。
11、五带的划分：
第二章：地图
1、比例尺的表示方法：文字式、线段式、数字式
2、比例尺大小的比较：分母越大，比例尺越小；分母越小，比例尺越大。
3、比例尺越大，表示的范围越小，内容越详细；比例尺越小，表示的范围越大，内容越简单。
4、比例尺=图上距离÷实地距离
5、地图上方向的表示方法：
一般的地图，用一般定向法：面向地图，上北下南，左西右东。
有指向标的地图，用指向标定向法：指向标的箭头方向一般指向北方。
有经纬网的地图，用经纬网定向法：经线指示南北方向，纬线指示东西方向。
6、图例：地图上表示各种地理事物的符号。（要记住常用的图例）

8、海拔（绝对高度）：地球表面某一地点高出海平面的垂直距离。
相对高度：地球表面某一个地点高出另一地点的垂直距离。
等高线：在地图上海拔高度相同点的连线。
9、在等高线地形图上，等高线密集，表示坡度较陡；等高线稀疏，表示坡度较缓。
10、由等高线的特点判断地形：
山顶：等高线中间高，四周低。
山脊：等高线向低处凸出。
山谷：等高线向高处凸出。
鞍部：两侧的等高线比较高。
陡崖：多条等高线重叠的地方。
第三章：世界的陆地和海洋
1、地球表面的水陆面积比例：海洋71%，陆地29%，三分陆地七分海洋。
2、七大洲：亚洲、非洲、北美洲、南美洲、南极洲、欧洲、大洋洲。（按面积由大到小排列）
四大洋：太平洋、大西洋、印度洋、北冰洋。（按面积由大到小排列）
能在世界地图上准确找出七大洲、四大洋的分布。
3、大洲之间的分界线：
亚洲、欧洲：乌拉尔山、乌拉尔河、大高加索山、土耳其海峡。
亚洲、非洲：苏伊士运河。
北美洲、南美洲：巴拿马运河。
亚洲、北美洲：白令海峡。
4、陆地地形包括平原、高原、山地、丘陵、盆地五大类。
5、在地形图上能找出喜马拉雅山、科第勒拉山、青藏高原、亚马孙平原。
6、阅读大洲地形图，判断大洲的地形大势。
7、板块构造学说：地球表层的岩石圈由六大板块拼合而成，分别是亚欧板块、非洲板块、印度洋板块、太平洋板块、美洲板块、南极洲板块。板块的内部比较稳定，板块的边缘地壳运动比较活跃，容易形成火山和地震。
