The Power of top Brand
There are countless goods in the world for us to choose. How to choose things? For me, I like buying the things with top brands. I think the things of top brands are more reliable and their quality will be better. Sometimes, for two same things, I will buy the more expensive one that belongs to top brand. I just have special trust on it. I think it will call the power of top brand.

University Students' Pursuit of Famous Brands
“what perfumes are you wearing?” “aren’t your shoes Nike’s latest release?” “I like the Mickey bag you bought yesterday.” “I hear the jack&jones store is on sale thie week. Do you wanna come along?” don’t feel surprised if you hear them coming out of the mouth of college students, it’s quite common to hear and see college students swapping information about the brands they like and the procts they use. In fact, discussions about brand names have become one of the college students’ favourite pastimes. They learn about the latest fashion from each other, exchange tips about when and where to get the item, and buy it at their earliest convenience. “keeping up with the joneses” is their conviction –“if the joneses have it, how could I have not?”
About this current mindset of the college students, many people may hasten to show their disapproval. They’ll probably take it to be a reflection of the students’ vanity and superficiality. And they may lecture them on the virtue of being thrifty.
However, I beg to differ, for one thing, name-brand procts are usually quality procts, as such, they are something beautiful, enrable, and reliable, “the love of beauty is common to all.” Goes the proverb; therefore, there’s nothing to blame about the pursuit of famous brands. For the other, college students are old enough to make their own decisions. Likewise, they must abide by the consequences if they make an ill-advised one. If they let their pursuit of brands eat into their budget for other more important issues, they should be able to correct their mistakes and keep everything in moderation. So this becomes no other than a good chance to learn management, isn’t it?
G. 穿名牌的好与坏 求一篇120-140的英语作文 格式如下 有些人觉得好,理由 有些人觉得不好,理由
Students’ Pursuit for Famous Brands
many students like to pursue famous brands. From clothes to mobile phones, even study articles like electronic dictionaries and pens, they are inclined to buy famous brands. Moreover, many students from poor families begin to [3]follow this consumption trend as well. This phenomenon has aroused wide attention.
The following reasons can account for college students’ preference for famous brands. Above all, in many college students’ eyes, a famous brand is a symbol of sophistication and taste. They expect others to admire their high class and good taste. [2]What’s more, in modern society, famous brands to some extent are equal to fashion, which has a great attraction to young college students. Besides, parents’ spoiling their children helps form their bad consumption habit.
As far as I am concerned, it is irrational for college students to pursue famous brands. After all, most of famous brands are far beyond their consumption ability. Besides, it is not famous brands but a person’s noble character that really makes him high class. Therefore, college students should attach more importance to cultivating a good character rather than pursuing famous。

I think Students may have to wear a specially purchased uniform. Or they may just have to dress alike -- for example, white shirts and dark colored pants or skirts.
my parents also like the idea of uniforms. Some say it means they do not have to spend as much on clothing for their kids. Others, though, argue that uniforms represent an unnecessary cost. There are also debates about whether uniforms or other dress policies violate civil rights.Students and parents have taken legal action against school dress requirements.
The American Civil Liberties Union of Northern California brought the case for the families of several students who were punished. Most attention centered on a girl who wore socks with the Tigger character from Winnie the Pooh.
The school said its clothing policy, including no pictures of any kind, was needed to control a growing problem with gangs.
some ecators believe dressing alike helps improve student learning. They believe that uniforms help create a sense of unity and rece the risk of fights. They also say uniforms make it easier for security reasons to tell if someone belongs at the school or not.
