困难可以为一个人的成功铺下奠基石。相信大家都记得“昆虫界的荷马”——法布尔吧。在九十二个年华里，他曾经经历过生活贫困，也遭到了他人的歧视，可外界的因素对他而言，只不过过眼烟云，他把这些不利的因素转换成强大的动力，将自己的一生奉给自然科学，献给昆虫世界。所以才写成了科学着作——《昆虫记》。他用传神的画笔绘下了一种种的昆虫：“小小歌唱家”蟋蟀，“大力士”蚂蚁，“勤奋”蜜蜂……法布尔为什么会有如此之高的成就呢？这和他的勤奋、坚持是离不开的。有一次他不顾自身的安全去捉黄蜂，大胆猜测，勇于实验……一次实验失败了，他又会整理实验中的数据，认真地反思实验的过程。法布尔的这一作风，让我明白了什么是真正的“科学精神”。所以说，磨练不是一件坏事，它可以赋予一个人顽强和不屈的品质。

从前有只蜗牛，它想去看梦想中的大海。于是它就问雄鹰大海距离这里有多远。雄鹰告诉它，依靠你的速度，要整整二十年呢！二十年！天哪，蜗牛根本就不敢想。蜗牛认为，二十年，我恐怕活不到那么长时间。因此，它退缩了，可大海就是它的梦。它整日想啊想，最终抑郁而死。可见，困难也是可以毁掉一个人的。因为他被“恐惧”这座大山压在了身上。
也许，就是因为逆境的这种“正负性”，才造就了不同的人生吧。但是，苦难对一个人产生的影响是积极的，还是消极的，我认为这并不在于困难的大与小，而在于一个人是否拥有不屈不挠的斗志。就像法布尔一样，有着远大目标的人，一次又一次的失败对他来说应该是“小菜一碟”。苦难又算得什么，不过一味苦苦的大补药而已。记得语文书上有首小诗，是冰心奶奶写的《成功的花》，里面有段话，我是非常欣赏的：然而当初她的芽儿，浸透了奋斗的泪泉，洒遍了牺牲的血雨。看来，要想成功，磨练、苦难是不可避免的。常听父亲说：雾气弥漫的清晨，并不意味着是一个阴霾的清晨。累累的创伤，就是生命给你的最好的东西，因为在每个创伤上，都标示着前进的一步。是的，没有创伤的人生是不精彩的。正如温室里那娇滴滴的花，一经风雨就会弯下柔软的细腰。但那室外的大树呢，经历了风吹雨打，反而更加挺拔，他们坚信，坚持就是胜利，为什么要屈服于灾难面前呢？所以，有着大树这种品质的人，才真正是个人才，无愧于是个成功者。如果参照以上的这个结论，法布尔属于“大树”，还是“花儿”；蜗牛是棵“大树”，还是一朵“小花”，不言而喻。
或许，在顺境里往往比逆境更容易取得成功，但我们也可以主动一些，把逆境中的不利因素，通过某些方法，转化成一些有利的条件，将这种负性变成正性，让它们为我们将来的成功打好基础，不是吗？在这个改革开放、科技腾飞的新时代，我们更应把握好眼前的条件，面前的这一片光明，为自己崇高的理想而奋斗。
90后的我们，有几个经历过大风大浪，又有多少像法布尔一样，遭遇到数不清的坎坷。所以我们常常缺乏着一种精神，一种毅力。因此，我们只有树立好自己的人生观，并为此付出了汗水，才能像法布尔那样功成名就，到死也不留下遗憾，为我们的人生点上绚丽的色彩。因为我坚信“阳光总在风雨后”。
