junior high school, my English was very poor . At first , I couldn't spell the words. I couldn't understand grammar. I also scared to speak in class , because I thought my class might laugh at me .

Now , after class I study by listening English tapos every day . Evening, I can watch English-language TV . I can recite some words. I can speak English in my class , beacuse my classmates won't laugh at me . However, I make mistakes in grammar . I'm sure ther will help me. After class , I ofen have conversations with my friends . Sometimes, I can read English magazines . That memorizing the words also help a lot . I can practice writing . I do it often. I'm writing three or four times a week .

English is one of the useful and important languages in the world so we should learn it well. Firstly, we shouln't be afraid of making mistakes. We can learn from our mistakes so be confident and don't be shy when we learn Engllish. Secondly, try to speak English as often as possible. Learning English takes take so we should read English everny morning because our brain is fresh in the morning. We should listen to the tape and English programs. When I began to learn English, I found it difficult for me to understand the listening. I listened to the tape again and again, little by little I could understand what they said. Thirdly, "Practice makes perfect". So we should practice speaking English with our classmates every day. If we can, we'd better join an English corner so that we can have more chance to speak English. We should remember at least ten words every day because large vocabulary is necessary for us to learn English. If we want to writh a good composition, we'd better try to recite some passages every day. I am sure if we put our hear into English learning, we can learn English well.
Learning english can be a very difficult task for most people, this is because we dont live in a environment where we are forced to speak or write english. so i think the best way to learn english is by communicating with others using the lagnguage itself and not just learn from the book. Im sure if you live in an environment such as a foreign country and were forced to speak and write english everyday then your english will imprve dramatically.
Although we must agree that we need to read and write english from the book in order to get the foundations that we need for basic communication, this is essential but as i said, this is only a foundation, what you develop afterwards all depends on your ability to adapt to an environment and your courage.

A Trip To Beijing
On summer holiday my parents took me to Beijing. We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.
We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. If you want to know more about the Palace Museum, you can go to Beijing and have a look.
The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang Hill. I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern Beijing. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.
Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing.
I like this trip!

1. The more words you understand, the easier you can learn English well. The English sentences consist of many single words, which are the basic components of English. Unless you could remember lots of words and use them at the same time, you can’t understand English questions well enough and give the right answer. For me, I take at least one hour a day to remember the words.
2. To learn English well, you must use it as frequently as you can, or else, it is easily for you to forget what you just learned in the class if you don’t use them after class. You should use them whenever you have time and opportunities, never be afraid to make mistakes!
3. Reading is the best way to increase your English. You could review the grammar you learned from teacher ring the reading. There are also other new words you never see before in plenty of articles. From reading them, you could learn new words along with improving the understanding ability of English sentences, paragraphs and whole papers.
4. Writing the daily dairy in English is the other good way. You don’t need put too many words in one dairy, but you should insist on this. I am sure that your can write a beautiful composition after insisting on writing English dairy for one year.

In addition, society is developing so fast that new problems come up with surprising speed. Over depending on experience could, therefore, make a person narrow minded and prejudiced.

I didn't do well in english in the beginning. i started my english course at the age of 10. maybe you can't imagine, i couldn't say a whole sentence at that time. i couldn't catch up with my classmates because of my bad base. having a bad base may be many students' problem. i was sad about it, but i wasn't afraid of it.
The next summer holiday, i spent almost all of my free time practicing english by listening to the tape and repeating after it. whenever it was, wherever i was, i kept the tape on. i listened carefully and i tried to recite the article.
Soon, i found i had made a good progress in my english. at least, i could understand what the teacher said in class. then slowly, i could get good marks at times. this taught me a good lesson. that is not to be afraid of setbacks, hard work makes progress. this is the first part of my english learning.
When i was in grade six and seven, my english was much better than it was. i could always get good marks in tests. my english skills still couldn't compare with the top students in my class. my spoken english was really poor. i got a 'b' in my spoken english at the end of the first term.this showed what i was weak at. i decided to improve it. this was the second part. i knew that study is a process. if i want to improve my spoken english in one or two days, that's impossible. i must spend a long time reading more, listening more, writeing more and talking more.
The third part is the hardest. english is really important today, so i wanted to make myself excellent. i take an english course called new concept english by myself. maybe you have heard about it. this is a good english course and i learn it by myself. i think it's really important for you to learn how to learn english by yourself. you can try english course or other ways which matches you.i think it's necessary to be outgoing and confident. don't be shy, don't be silent. i want to improve my english skills, so i need to talk and write. this isn't a problem for me, because i'm always confident and like to try. i talk to foreign teachers.
I have some other advice as well.
I must say don't be nervous, try to be relaxed when you write articles or talk to foreign teachers or just talk to your english teacher. remember: don't pay too much attention to details when you are talking. if you have some mistakes, that's all right. thinking and talking in english, this creates a wonderful feeling to me. i can see my progresses ring these years. i spent many years improving my english and i never give up. so, it's never too late to practice english, from now on.
