first，这个词就是首先，和第一的意思，尤其是高考什么的，别多想，只要你选了词，请注意：第二段和第三段必须加上second和third，否则，此篇文章无逻辑。马上归为二类文。
再说at first，这短语放在句首是指“起先”的意思，后面呢，大概会有at last（最后）做呼应。
