钓鱼是一项健康的活动，它一部分相当于瑜珈的功能，具体如下：
1、是一种乐趣，工作烦恼之余是一种没有负担的放松，退休无聊之际去钓鱼是丰富了老年生活。
2、锻炼你的大脑，对集中注意力去做一件事，并且很有耐心地去做，是很有作用的。
3、可以养性，也即锻炼你处事不惊，凡事不慌的性格，尤其是在你没钓到鱼或是钓到很大一条鱼时，也即成功与失败时都不要太在意，一切都是生活的一个音符。

我是个非常爱好钓鱼的人，钓鱼人一般分三种类型：休闲钓鱼的；竞技钓鱼的；钓鱼为生的。我是属于第一者，钓鱼可以去的地方很多，有野钓，台钓，海钓，室内钓，
地下岩洞钓等等。它能让人修身养性，一般有些老人都爱好钓鱼，一来娱乐，二来就是可以呼吸新鲜空气，同时锻炼身体，我认识的钓鱼的老人中没有一个说钓鱼对身体不好的。有些老人在水库边一呆就是个把月，帐篷都生台藓了都不愿意走，呵呵。
