讓我抄把自己房間打掃一下，襲我從中感到很快樂。我開始覺得掃地很難，就對媽媽說：「房間雖然很小，但地卻很難掃啊。」媽媽說：「就那麼一點地還嫌多，好在沒讓你把家裡全掃一下呢。」我沒辦法，只好答應了。
沒想到我打掃完房間居然只用了幾分鍾而已。於是，我想：既然打掃房間只需要幾分鍾，那把整個屋子打掃一下也用不了多長時間吧。於是我就把廚房、大廳，還有走廊都掃了一下。等我把這些地方都掃完，也只用了20分鍾不到的時間。當我把這些地方的垃圾都倒完的時候，我產生了一種越干越想乾的感覺。
晚上，媽媽回家了，看見走廊、大廳乾乾凈凈的，就說：「這地是你掃的吧？」我點了下頭，媽媽又說：「早上編了一大堆的理由不掃地，怎麼現在把整個屋子都掃干凈了？」我說：「我也不知道怎麼了，就是有一種越掃越想掃的感覺。」
我看媽媽心情好，就對媽媽說：「媽媽，你身上有零頭錢嗎？我今天掃干凈了這么多地方，你總得給我點錢作為獎勵吧。」
