雅思A類的小作文主要包括以下集中題型：
曲線圖：
關鍵是把握好曲線的走向和趨勢，學會general classification，即在第二段的開頭部分對整個曲線進行一個階段式的總分類，使寫作層次清晰。接下來在分類描述每個階段的specific trend，同時導入數據作為你分類的依據。注意不要不做任何說明就機械性的導入數據！可以使用一些比較native的單詞和短語來描述trend。
表格題：
考察例舉數字的能力和方法。注意怎樣通過舉一些有代表性的數據來有效地說明問題。
流程圖：
注意流程圖里的「因果關系」或每一流程的「承前啟後」關系；表達每一流程的主體內容，闡明這種關系；揭示其內在聯系或規律；後，給予簡要歸納和總結。
柱狀圖：
「比較」（找出similarity）和「對比」（找出difference），是寫作的關鍵，既要橫向總結所有柱狀圖表的共性特徵，也要分別描寫各個柱子的個性特徵。
餅圖：
是所有圖表題中比較好寫的一種，值得注意的是要處理好如何豐富百分比的表達和「占」的表達。不要一直用數字加百分比的格式，如25%。特定的數字可以採取多樣性的表達，如25%=a quarter of， 50%=half of， >50%=a， or the majority of。

雅思小作文以圖表為主，主要有六種題型：

1、餅圖

2、折線圖

3、柱狀圖

4、表格

5、地圖

6、流程圖

小作文時間：20min，建議——5min分析圖形並撰寫大綱，10min完成寫作150字，3-5min檢查全文。

小作文動態圖逐條寫：將「線」進行分類（例如「上升」歸為一類、「下降」歸為一類…），按照分類逐條描寫：寫詳細的變化趨勢和相應數據。

2個拿分點：

1、變化趨勢中的具體數據（從X變化到X…）

2、足夠的對比（對比貫穿全文才能拿到高分）

對比的四要素：

最值、相似、相反、數據落差（例如倍數）

對比需要出現在文章的哪個部分：

對比應該出現在起承轉合處，對比實際上起到的作用是搭建圖形的整體框架；

可以通過對去年高頻話題的總結，看出雅思大作文常考的題目，從而進行針對性練習
