未來的學校是一座網路學校，每間教室有150平方米，每張課桌面的面積就有7平方米，上面放著一台高級「金鷹」電腦。
老師講語文課時，同學們只需要望著電腦，因為老師所講的段意、解詞、中心思想、精彩點評......全都輸入電腦了，而且不用人工輸入，電腦只要一聽到聲音，就立刻把老師所說的話「裝」進「腦子」里，你還不用自己動手，電腦就幫你保存起來了。這樣，同學們就不用拿筆記在課本上了。黑板、課本等學慣用品也就淘汰了。除此之外，同學們還可以通過電腦來回答問題，可方便了。

在音樂課上，老師不用教你唱歌，你只要告訴電腦你要學什麼歌，電腦就會一句一句地教你。你如果有唱得不對的地方，它還會耐心地給你糾正。
該上活動課了，你只要告訴電腦「活動課到了」，它就會在一瞬間帶你到活動場所——游樂場。你可以在游樂場里盡情地玩耍。什麼摩天輪、探險船、過山車、瘋狂老鼠......一樣又一樣地等著你玩兒。 下課了，電腦會提醒你，然後又從時光隧道里把你送回教室。
不光是上課，你做作業也特別方便，你可以在電腦上寫，當你不專心時，電腦會叫你「用心寫」。同時，老師也可以在電腦上批改作業，甚至還可以讓電腦批改作業。未來的學校多麼神奇呀，未來的孩子們將是多麼幸福呀！
