人們常說：要真正學好英語，就要培養用英語思想的能力。但是，要做到這一點是不容易的。有一個簡單易行的辦法可以幫助我們練慣用英語思想，那就是用英語寫日記。日記是十分自由的文體，不像作文，必須有正式的主題，講究文體。日記是思想，是感情，是內心的一切。有朋友來你家作客，你可以寫：We had a wonderful time together． 春節快到了，你或許可以這樣寫：The Spring Festival is around the corner. It's the most important occasion for the family reunion．甚至在夏天與蚊子的「斗爭」也可以成為日記的內容：These annoying mosquitoes didn't seem to be afraid of the mosquito coil(蚊香)I burned. So I had to hang up a mosquito-net. It was fun to lie inside the net reading a favorite magazine while those unpleasant small insects were looking at me helplessly outside.

2．寫好英語日記的要點
1)養成積累詞語的習慣
從某種意義上說，寫英語日記又是最難的寫作，因為它包羅萬象，涉及到生活的各個方面，對詞彙的要求特別高。因此，在日常學習中，必須做一個「有心人」，准備一本筆記本，對一些英語的習慣表達法及時記錄下來，以便在以後記日記的時候可以使用。在開始記日記時，碰到一兩個英語詞彙不會寫，不妨用漢語先寫上，以後學會了英語表達，再補上去。千萬不要因為一兩個詞寫不出，就沒了記英語日記的興趣，以至放棄用英語記日記。只要你注意積累，一定會發覺自己英語日記中夾雜的漢語會越來越少，最後變為全部地道的英語日記。
2)英語日記的寫作格式
日記的第一行，要寫明年、月、日與星期，然後要寫明當天的氣候狀況，如果是游記，還要寫明地點。這一部分中天氣狀況比較難寫。下面是一些常用的描寫天氣的英語詞語：

日記正文可以是敘事、描述、說明、議論等各種形式。其實，由於日記是非常隨便的，因此上述文體常常結合在一起使用。日記內容取自生活，可長可短，有時無事可記，一兩句也可以。切忌今天記，明天不記，三天打魚，兩天曬網，破壞了記日記的情趣。另外，日記也應該盡可能講究一些文采，切忌寫成流水賬。
3)英語日記中的縮寫與省略
英語日記中的第一行的月份與星期通常都是縮寫的：

另外，英語日記中由於頻繁出現I，因此，常常省略，如：In the evening went with Xiao Li to the cinema. Finishing exercises, went to play tennis. 但如果省去I，會造成語義不清時，則不可省去：
My sister is good at English, but I am just so-so.
實際上，省與不省I，只是作者的一種習慣，為了記日記的方便。
最後需要一提的是，英語日記習慣一年一本，因此日期不必寫年份，而只是在每年一本的日記本封面上或者在日記的第一頁和最後一頁加以註明即可。

I got up early today to watch the sunrise. While I waited for the sun to rise, I sat beside my window and thought of my future. Soon I will be a grown man and I won't be a baby anymore. 第二周 7月14日 星期四 晴
今天放學回來，媽媽還沒做好晚飯。我坐在窗前，拿起爸爸給我新買的「小故事中的大智慧」系列叢書——《虛掩的門》。我隨手一翻，一個醒目的標題映入我的眼簾——「大器之材」。我急不可耐的讀了下去。
原來這個故事講的是：信息時代的天才、微軟電腦公司大亨、美國首富比爾·蓋茨，上小學四年級時被推薦到學校圖書館幫忙整理圖書。他聰穎好學，盡管身材瘦小，工作卻十分認真。他每天來得很早，不遺餘力的在書架的迷宮中穿來穿去，像個小偵探一樣的把人們放錯位置的圖書揀出來，然後再放回它應該放的地方。後來他家要搬到附近另外一個住宅區，他也被轉學離開了圖書館。可他心裡老記掛著「我走了誰來整理那些站錯隊的書呢？」想來想去，他讓媽媽又把他轉回了原來的學校。他告訴圖書管理員，「現在爸爸用車接送我上學，如果爸爸不帶我，我就走路來。」
看完這個故事，我被比爾那做事認真的精神所感動。一個十幾歲的孩子，做事如此認真，決心如此堅定，則天下無不可為之事。我想到，在許多偉大或傑出的人物身上，總有許多優於或異於常人的地方，這些都會或遲或早的在他們的生平事跡中顯現出來。成名之前，這些可能被人忽視，成名之後，人們才想到了他們當初的不凡。但不管事前或事後的記錄，無疑都是留給人類的一份精品。
第三周 7月21日 星期四 雨
在這周，最讓人操心的就是3A學校的考試了。因為這期我們學習的內容太多了。奧語有許多內容不但要理解，而且還要背誦。什麼《三字經》、《增廣賢文》、成語接龍、古詩和詞語，要理解和背誦的東西真多。為了考試能夠取得好成績，我每天晚上都在背誦、默寫和復習，加上還有奧數、閱讀和作文，我每天都睡得很晚很晚。
考試了。當我走進考場，拿到試卷時，我懸著的心總算落了地。題目並不難，不到半個小時我就做完了。檢查了幾遍，發現和改正了幾個錯誤，就交卷了。我告訴媽媽，這次應該考得還可以。我對自己很有信心。
第四周 7月28日 星期四 晴
在這周里，我看了許多文章，其中有一篇叫《成功》的小故事引起了我的極大興趣。故事講的是發生在法國著名作家貝爾納身上的一件有趣的事。
有一次，法國一家報紙進行有獎智力競賽，其中有這樣一道題目：如果法國最大的博物館盧浮宮失火了，情況只允許搶救出一幅畫，你會搶那一幅？
結果在報社收到的成千上萬人的回答中，貝爾納以最佳答案獲得這個題目的最高獎金。他的回答是：「我搶離出口最近的那幅畫。」
我想，貝爾納的思維與我們常人的思維就是不一樣。我們的回答也可能是：「我搶最珍貴的那幅畫。」可貝爾納的回答卻是別出心裁。
這個故事告訴我們：成功的最佳目標不是最有價值的那個，而是最有可能實現的那個。
第五周 8月4日 星期四 晴
這一周，3A學校的第二期奧語和奧數班又開學了。開學的第一天，老師要發第一期的考卷，公布考試成績。
上課了，老師拿著厚厚的一沓考捲走上講台。同學們個個屏住呼吸，等待著老師宣布自己的成績。教室里靜悄悄的，60多雙眼睛緊緊地盯著老師手裡的那張紙，猜想著自己的分數。教室外面的走廊上，站了許多家長，他們紛紛湧向教室門口，不時地朝教室裡面張望，生怕露聽了自己孩子的考試成績。
老師說話了：「同學們，我們上次考試的題目比較難，全部用的是各個重點中學去年在我們學校選拔學生的考題。根據去年的錄取情況，這次奧數考試凡能考到50分以上的，就有可能被錄取。40分以上的同學佔到全班人數的70%以上。現在，我先宣布一下考分在85分以上的同學名單，然後把考卷發給大家。」

今天，我寫完作業，想放鬆一下，便打開電腦，玩起了前幾天剛剛裝上的電腦游戲——《魔獸爭霸》。
我今天選了獸族，對戰人類。我讓我的英雄「先知」帶兵先去練級，等它練到5級，有了大魔法時才回來。這時，我移動滑鼠，看了一下地圖。我看見人族部隊的「血魔法師」由於自不量力，在與我「金礦看守」的搏鬥中嚴重失利。我想，這正是我進攻人族的絕好機會。於是，我點動滑鼠，帶著我的「步兵狼騎」、「雙足飛龍」和「牛頭人酋長」去攻擊人族基地。「血魔法師」一看我大部隊來勢兇猛，為了保住基地，只好應戰，結果被我一舉殲滅。我方乘勝追擊，拿下人族基地，取得了這次戰斗的徹底勝利。
這個電腦游戲，我本來不會完。上次看小堂弟玩得十分上癮，也慢慢學會了它。但我知道，玩電腦游戲，堅決不能上癮，要能控制住自己。只有在寫完作業後休息時玩一小會兒，千萬不能因為玩游戲而影響了學習。

這一周的天氣變化無常，一會兒晴天，悶熱得人喘不過起來；一會兒下雨，下得好幾天也晴不了。
今天我去上課時，晴空萬里，熱得使人只穿著短褲背心。可上完課走出教室，天上卻下起了大雨。由於出來時沒帶雨傘，我和媽媽只有冒雨騎著自行車急急的往回趕。一路上，地面積水，來來往往的車輛和行人特別多，大家都好像是在急著趕路。

實際上，省與不省I，只是作者的一種習慣，為了記日記的方便。
最後需要一提的是，英語日記習慣一年一本，因此日期不必寫年份，而只是在每年一本的日記本封面上或者在日記的第一頁和最後一頁加以註明即可。

What an assume robot it will be! With the breakthrough of technology, i strongly believe that my dream will come true oneday.6 I like English because I like my English class. I think having English is very happy. Our English teacher can teach us new English words and sentences. We also can learn lots of knownledge about English. On my English class, we can play some games .Such as Hung Man. Sometimes, our English teacher watches English films with us.
I think my English class is wonderful.7 A pet animal is kept us feel happy.Besides providing companionship,pets invite us to love and be loved.Often a cat or dog can comfort us at time when human words don't help.Pets also keep us in touch with the more natural animal world.Learning to care for a pet helps a child to grow up into a loving alt who feels responsible towards those dependent on him.A pet dog brings its master a sense of confidence for he can see in the dog that faithfulness does exist.In fact,we keep pets for emotional rather than economic reasons.Keeping pets is just a waste of time and resource,according to some other people.Those who are crazy about pets sometimes neglect their ties.It is a shame that many animal eat good food while thousand of people go hungry in some parts of our overpopulated,troubled world. Furthermore,the growing number of pets has caused serious hygiene problem that cannot be solved.Not to say it's against nature to cage birds, chain dogs and keep cats with the house.In my opinion,it is not wise nor possible to forbit pets keeping since it is a human need,rules should be made to avoid its drawbacks.8 Nowadays pollution has become a hot talk. We know there are several kinds of pollutions such as white pollution,waste from daily life,waste water from factories or cars,noises...Where there are people ,there are pollution.
In the past ,we never imagine we will throw so much daily waste.As people begin to use plastics bags for buying vegetable or food, they also use the palstics bags for filling the waste from kitchens such as remaining food, bad vegetables,they have made a lot of rubbish.Every day you'll notice the stmen busying collecting so much rubbish with a truck.How to get rid of the "white waste"has become a serious problem.
Luckily, in some cities,we can see some different stbins which are designed for different rubbish.As we know some of the rubbish as waste paper、galsses、plastics cab be recycled and reused again。 people put different rubbish into different stbins ，it will be easy for the stmen to collect them and then have them recycled 。But some people still have no good habit to classify their rubbish and throw rubbish everywhere。
We have only one earth which is our home。Every one of us should take good care of it。In this way can we have a better environmemnt to live in。 9 I am exciting because I am going to enjoy my friend's birthday party very soon. 12 I live in a rural area. As in most rural areas, this area has plenty of fresh air and luxuriant vegetation. What makes me even happier is the neighbors I have, all of them simple and honest folks. I don't think I can find the like of them in a city. In general, city dwellers, except in their own small circles of acquaintances, see each other as total strangers, and it is not unusual to find people living in the same apartment house brush past each other without showing any sign of recognition, not so much as a nodding of the head. Neighbors are usually compared to our close friends and as such they should help each other if help is sought. My neighbors are all farmers, who are rich, not in material possessions, but in hospitality, and their honesty to help are legendary. For reasons quite obvious, it is important to get along well with our neighbors and avoid quarreling with them over trivialities. I am a good neighbor to my neighbors, and so are they to me.
