Everyone has some memorable experiences.
In 2008, there was a serious earthquake in Sichuan Province. Many people were killed. A large number of houses collapsed. I was shocked. When I see theses pictures on TV, my eyes were filled with tears. I wanted to do something for people in the disaster areas.
Two days later, in front of the library of our school, almost all of the teachers and students came to donate money. I was moved. I thought although I couldn』t go to Sichuan like the soldiers and the doctors, I still wanted to try my best to help them. I took out all my pocket money and threw it into the donation box.
I hope they can rebuild their homeland early. It will be an unforgettable experience in my life. It makes me experience that if everyone makes a contribution for our country, we can overcome any difficulties.

A memorable experience
As a student ,I don』t have any great event to talk about ,but here I want to share my experience of preparing for the high school entrance examination.
During the first three years of junior school ,we were very happy and free .But we often heard that Grade 4 would be a hell. After the final exam of Grade 3 in June, everything blew onto our faces : teachers』 changing , harder and harder texts , terrible pressure and of course the graate exam .Where your position was on the listboard became the most important thing in our life .We had to study hard day and night ,always from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 or 2:00 a.m. the next day.
But I must say that it』s really an unforgettable memory in my life. Under the pressure we lived our life to the fullest, and enjoyed the true interesting things that we may have never cared before. Grade 4 in junior school was a turning point in my life. My attitude to learning, my world outlook and my philosophy of life all changed. I turned to be positive and strong. I also gained many people』s true & pure friendship, both teachers 』 and classmates』. In some way, I like that kind of life, as it taught me many things I』d never learned before.
Teachers also helped me a lot. I still can』t forget that my history teacher talked to me until 10:00 p.m. on April 30th, 2003, for my application. My head teacher also encouraged me, so did my Chinese teacher. I should say, all my teachers worked very hard and always neglected their sleep and meals. Even if some of them were about 50 and often fell ill, they never left us one day .
The last and greatest challenge was of course the final exam, also my high school entrance exam. I felt very well and comfortable except my chemistry physics exams. The result proved that I couldn』t have done worse in them. But in total, my mark is O.K. So then I became a student in the best high school of Hubei Province.
We, teachers and students, got together in East Lake Hotel on June 4th, 2003. At the moment of saying goodbye, I felt that my time of junior had gone ,and my senior time was coming.
Today, I looked at my graate photos again ,and ,I smiled.
He once hesitated ,struggled, feared and doubted, like an ordinary man would do. But he just "stays at the door of fate", as the name of his newly-written book says, and waits till the door opens instead of leaving ring the half way. Then there comes a wholly new world where the beautiful dream lies .

the diversity of my university life
Look! There is a rainbow! On the first day of my university life, when I walked into the campus, there was a rainbow bridging over the fountain, I hadn』t seen rainbow for a long time. After my entry into university, I found my life so busy. What I should do is not only gaining the scholarship but also being a good monitor and leader of shanghai university percussion band. Every week, I give drum lesson to new members of our percussion band. Of course, part-time job is indispensable in my vacations. I ask for no payment but aim at getting accustomed to the society.
Sometimes, my friends advise me not to tire myself out with such a tight schele. I wake up before the rooster crow, and continue working till very late when others are enjoying their sweet dreams. Every time I come back from the rehearsal of percussion band, I have to finish my homework with the help of my own charged light because of the blackout in out dormitory. Maybe such kind of life is something like an ascetic, but we should work hard and try hard in our youth, aren』t we?
When I represented shanghai university to take part in the POND』s new century lady competition held in May, when I show off on the stage, when I emerged as 「 girl of vitality」, I made use of every bit of time to compensate the classes I had missed, I made use of every chance to learn from other girls with vitality, versatility and intelligence, I made use of this opportunity to present our university students』 state of mind.

I strongly feel my lack of working and social experience; these are knowledge that can』t be learned from textbooks. Working in the company, I threw away my t-shirts jeans track shoes and changed into suits dresses and high-hell shoes. It was far from comfortable and occasionally I stumbled over my steps. Oh! Examinations seem to become part of our life, from element -ary schools to univiersities, even to work units. It's hard to imagine that a student can succeed without undergoing any exam. As a relatively equal measure to select excellent people in a certain field, exams are regarded as an urge for students to pursue further success. When I was in high school, I often got high marks in physics. While on a summer morning, the fan in my home didn't work. With high self-confidence, I volun- teered to examine what's wrong with it. To my dismay, I couldn't even understand its circuit diagram, let alone fix it. Suddenly I felt dejected for myself and the system of ecation. I was puzzled for what I'd really learned .The same thing happened when I entered the university. In the entrance exam, I got the high score of 136 (the full score was 150 ) in English. Thus, without hesitation, I chose English as my major, for I believe that English was my forte. But I was wrong. What I mastered exactly was "deaf " and "mb" English. I could not express English correctly in oral and written form. So I became a victim of the current exam system. I determined to take the development of my practical abilities as my essential purpose in the university.
Finally, examationss often cause psychological pressure. Many students suffer from bad health and a few even commit suicide. Because they think they are not as well as others, without good marks.
Therefore, we must have an objective attitude to exams. We should pay enough attention to their dark side and seek proper methods to reform them step by step. I think a rational exam system is what all of us expect.
