裴多菲說過：「價值才是用貢獻來計算的。從物質的消耗中謀求歡樂才是人生真正的悲哀。」人擁有了金錢是為了生活，但一個人活著卻不是為了金錢。其實擁有了金錢並不意味著擁有了幸福。人生的幸福在與追求，在於拼搏，在於奮斗。人要活，就要活得有意義，有價值，要學有所得志有所成，就要放棄自己私利而「為天下人謀幸福」，正因如此，即使身無分文，也會趕到幸福。。方誌敏一生清貧，當敵人抓住他時，企圖從他身上發財，但全身卻搜不出一個銅板;雷鋒「窮」的一雙襪子可以穿好幾年，卻自稱是做幸福的;周總理克勤克儉，一件睡衣上補丁摞補丁，為人民鞠躬盡瘁，死而後已……至於年安歇在平凡崗位上默默奉獻的勞動者們與及少數靠非法營商的「巨富大款們」相比，可謂是「無錢」，實在是「窮得可憐」。但他們靠著自己的雙手和誠實的勞動，在生活中處處感受到幸福的陽光。人民子弟兵以保衛國家為幸福;辛勤的園丁以教育人為幸福;開拓者有創造的幸福;奮斗者有搏鬥的幸福……
記得曾經有一個爆發戶說過：「我窮地什麼都沒有了，就只光剩下錢了。」可見，金錢並不是萬能的主兒，有錢未必得得到幸福。
