這兩件事情對我觸動很大，勵志要把英語學好，將來當一位翻譯官，翻譯各種語言的理想就種在了我的心裡。
回到家後，我就跑到爸爸的書櫃上，一通亂翻，翻出了幾十本英語書。我一次又一次地把英語書當做傳家寶似的搬到我的小書櫃上，我的舉動引起了父母的目光。爸爸說：「呀，我們家的零食迷不見了，多出了個英語混混，這是怎麼回事？」「爸爸，你就不要再笑我了，我的英語那麼差，去北京、上海都需要導游來幫我翻譯，就連比我小的小妹妹都能跟老外對話，你現在還不教我讀，等我會了，我就可以去采訪外國人了。」「是么？那你就要努力，不能偷懶喲。」「肯定啦！」於是，我的人生第一個目標就有了。
現在，我只要一有零花錢，就去買些英語書籍。有時錢不夠用了，我就動用壓歲錢來買書，就這事，媽媽不止一次說過我，可我就是不聽。學校一有活動，我是第一個報名的，我還參加了上海昂立英語興趣培訓班學習。不僅如此，我還訂了一個學習英語的加強計劃表：一是視覺學習，把學過的英語單詞都抄到一張大白紙上，貼在我的書桌前；二是語音練習，每天早晚都要聽英語磁帶十五分鍾；三是口語練習，每天要找爸爸用英語交流。四是每天要背誦課文和聽寫單詞。
功夫不負有心人，我的英語立馬突飛猛進，不僅當了英語正班長，還在期末期中考試得了100分。在學校舉辦的「快樂學英語」英語比賽中，得了第一名。
為了實現我的理想，我制定了階段性目標：小學英語詞彙量達到初中水平，初中詞彙量達到高中水平，而高中詞彙量至少要達到四級以上。
我相信，只要我堅持，我的理想一定可以美夢成真。
