1.首段引人：
盡自己最大的可能使得第一自然段引人入勝，做到「語不驚人誓不休」。要想做到這一點，就要求學生要大量地閱讀課外書籍，包括中文和英文，做到知識面寬泛，觀點靈活，寫技高超。
2.片語句型：
在英語作文中，片語和句型的運用可幫助呈現寫作者的英語水平。這就要求學生要在基礎知識方面進行系統的學習。現舉例說明：
