我們的地球需要我們共同來愛護，讓我們從身邊的小事做起，珍惜資源，降低能耗，讓我們的生活更加美好。
以前，我總是把電燈開上個徹夜到明，水從晚上點到明早。低碳的生活方式，就是在生活的細節上注重節能減耗。除了做作業必須開燈之外，其餘的事情都靠窗外的照明燈來相助。
只要我洗好手，就都把水龍頭擰的緊緊地，不讓水「逃」出來，這樣，我就可以安心了。但我又擔憂爸爸媽媽會不會做好，每次看見爸爸媽媽進洗手間洗手並順其自然的把水龍頭關緊，我十分高興，我希望 「低碳家庭」會做的更好。
原來，電器開著，就連小小的手機電池在插座上插著時都會排放出可怕的二氧化碳，只要充完電就應該將電池立刻取下。我本來以為，二氧化碳只有汽車尾氣、煤炭燃燒這些會排放，沒想到生活中處處都有微弱的「碳」在侵害著我們大家的生活和地球。
簡單理解，低碳生活就是返璞歸真地去進行人與自然的活動，主要是從節電節氣和回收三個環節來改變生活細節，包括以下一些低碳的良好生活習慣：倡導低碳,呵護地球
1.每天的淘米水可以用來洗手擦傢具，干凈衛生，自然滋潤。
2.將廢舊報紙鋪墊在衣櫥的最底層，不僅可以吸潮，還能吸收衣櫃中的異味；
3.用過的面膜紙也不要扔掉，用它來擦首飾、擦傢具的表面或者擦皮帶，不僅擦得亮還能留下面膜紙的香氣；
4.喝過的茶葉渣，把它曬干，做一個茶葉枕頭，又舒適，還能幫助改善睡眠。
5.出門購物，自己帶環保袋，無論是免費或者收費的塑料袋，都減少使用。
6.出門自帶喝水杯，減少使用一次性杯子。 7.多用永久性的筷子、飯盒，盡量避免使用一次性的餐具。
8.養成隨手關閉電器電源的習慣，避免浪費用電。
9.盡量不使用冰箱、空調，熱時可用電扇或扇子。
經過手工製作的改造，你會發現原來廢物也是寶，這樣的家居環境健康且充滿了創意的小歡樂。
還有一些不容易注意的幾點：
1.每天使用傳統的發條鬧鍾，取代電子鬧鍾；
2.在午休和下班後關掉電腦電源；
3.一旦不用電燈、空調，隨手關掉；手機一旦充電完成，立即拔掉充電插頭；
4.選擇晾曬衣物，避免使用滾筒式乾衣機；用在附近公園中的慢跑取代在跑步機上的45分鍾鍛煉；
5.用節能燈替換60瓦的燈泡；不開汽車改騎自行車，或步行。
6.在使用電腦時，盡量使用低亮度，開啟程序少些等，這樣可以節電。
