一個星期六的早晨，大明帶著他的兒子去買東西。
他們來到大馬路邊，兒子左瞧瞧，右看看，就看到馬路對面有他最喜歡吃的東西-冰糖葫蘆，就跟爸爸急著鬧著要吃冰糖葫蘆，大明心想:兒子怎麼這么扭啊，什麼不好吃，偏要吃馬路對面的冰糖葫蘆，不過為了兒子，我心甘情願去買。但是，馬路上車水馬龍，前面又有一道護欄，怎麼過去呢?從旁邊走又要走3、4百米，一個來回，不就要走8百米了嗎?抄近路吧，就那點兒護欄，小意思，說不定跳給兒子看看，他還會崇拜我呢!大明想著想著，就對兒子說:「兒子，我給你展示一下我的絕技，好不好?」兒子激動地說:「好啊好啊，什麼絕技啊，快表演給我看看吧。」爸爸得意地說:「兒子，等會兒，我將跳過護欄，你就等著看吧。」兒子抱著懷疑的態度說:「爸爸，護欄這么高，你真的跳得過去嗎?」爸爸用國家領導的口吻說:「你就看著吧。」大明又想:哈哈!終於找到炫耀的機會了。大明不多想，只見他穿過人群，繞開汽車，直奔護欄，起身一跳，「噌!」就跳過了護欄。一旁的兒子拍手叫好，說:「爸爸，你太棒了，太棒了!」正當父子倆得意洋洋的時候，警察過來了，他先敬了個禮，然後，嚴肅地說:「同志，您違反了交通規則，難道您不知道護欄的作用嗎?還有，您身邊帶著兒子，他就會模仿你，他現在還沒有分辨好壞的能力，你應該以身作則，為他做個好榜樣。
大明聽了警察說的話，慚愧地低下了頭……
