寮國的國語是寮國語phaasaalaao，也稱寮語，在寮國說英語還沒有普及，並且他內們說的英語，你要聽懂很困容難，除非是在萬象，那邊英語還基本可以，但是在其它地方，要用英語交流，還是沒有想像中那麼容易，更不會說到普及程度！說出一句英語，你要很努力很努力才能聽懂，因為他們的英語帶著口音很重的！有些發音又不清楚，就像中國人講英語也有自己的不足一樣，如果是要去寮國旅遊的話，先買本書好好學習一下，練習一下寮國的基本常用語，到時候交流起來就方便多了。
另外，語言不通還有一些其它辦法可以化解，比如：
1、提前把關鍵地名提前用中文寫在手抄本上（中老雙文對照）
2、在餐廳吃飯的時候可以看圖說話、商業區或旅遊景區遇到中國人可以求助他們
3、帶上中文的寮國地圖、手機裝個翻譯軟體（旅行翻譯官）
4、還可以加上肢體語言配合。

Other than sticky rice, which can be eaten either sweet or sour, or fermented and is eaten with fingers, Laotian food is very rich in vegetables and is often browned in coconut oil.

對於公司名稱取名是很自由的，那公司名稱的話英文是必須要有，中文名稱可有可無，可以是以英文名稱直接注冊，但是只注冊中文名稱沒有英文名稱是不行的。

「北本」是哪個省的地名?是市、縣還是村?

Pakbeng的音譯不會是「北賓」啊版,那是個權Pak打頭的,譯過來應該是「巴」.例如「巴訕」--「Pakxan」.所以應該也是一個河口的村鎮或城市.
「北本」與「北賓」應該不是一回事.寮國語里「本」和「賓」這兩個音很容易區分,各自很清晰,應該不會是同一個.
至於你說的這兩個地名,我都沒有聽說過,總覺得譯的有問題.你再查實一下.
