In order to see the sunset ， I got everything ready before 5in the afternoon . Then I went to the East Hill .
At that time ， the sun was already in the west but it was still shining . Its light was so bright that I couldn't even open my eyes . When I arrived at the East Hill ， the light became a bit yellow . After a short while ， it was completely golden ， then red . The sun nearly set . It was like a big red ball . The cloud around it was also painted red . Therefore, it was unavoidable to make our life suffer from fierce effects. For instance, not only was the electricity cut off, but also the drinking water was curdled. What was worse, the peasants' crops in the fields were nearly frozen to death, which made their efforts in vain.
At this time, many warm-hearted volunteers and workers across the country gave us an instant hand. It is they who devoted all their energies to rushing to repair our electrical wirings and water pipes to ensure we could recover our normal life from the freeze as soon as possible. What was praise-worthy was that some workers sacrificed their precious lives.
