一、上好英語作文課的前提——激情
很多老師總會抱怨英語作文課難上,學生無話可寫。為什麼英語作文課枯燥?那是因為你沒有激發學生想寫的慾望,沒有創設寫作的情景,也就是沒有給學生作情感鋪墊。為了讓學生有表達的慾望,今天我上課選取了寫家鄉美景為內容。一上課,就以一曲優美的《走馬仙女山》配以家鄉的自然風光,讓學生陶醉在家鄉自然的美麗中,欲表達的情就在傾刻之間。有情才能寫,無情便無語。
二、上好英語作文課的關鍵——放緩坡度
如果你一上課就給出一個題目,提出一大堆的要求,讓學生自己絞盡腦汁作文,恐怕難有幾個學生能勝任,尤其是中差生,更是會一籌莫展,無法下筆。我們不妨給他們一個坡度,讓學生跳一跳,能摘桃。在寫作之前,先讓學生想出一些與主題相關的詞,再用這些詞造句,然後將這些句子進行美化,修改後,再進行取捨組合成段,再將段組成篇,最後進行修改訂正成文。這樣一步步推進,學生就不會覺得很難了。我在這節課上使用了詞-句-段-篇的推進模式,引導學生由易到難,由短到長,最後連平時最差的學生也能寫出一些句子了。
三、上好英語作文課的後勁——評改多樣化
對於學生而言,什麼最給力?不是老師的評價,而是來自於學生的評價。 一次作文課的成功不能說明什麼,關鍵是如何將這種成功變成一種永遠的成功,變成學生在英語作文方面的可持續性發展,那就得在評改的形式上下功夫。評改英語作文可以採取多種形式相結合,教師批改,優生批改,學生互相批改。這好比一大樹,教師批改是樹干,決定樹木的直立成長,優生批改是樹枝,可以幫助主幹獲得更多能量,學生互相批改是樹葉,可以在最大范圍內獲得陽光。因此在學生完成作文後,我先讓學生在小組內互相修改,互相學習,再去請一位比自己優秀的同學作自己個別指導,然後我隨機抽取幾位同學的作文打出投影讓大家來評議,作出總結,歸納了1+2+1的模式,再讓學生對比修改自己的作文。差生有了模式可循,自然就不會覺得無從入手了。
四、上好英語作文課的備注——積累
要想上好英語作文課,教師和學生的積累都很重要,有了大量的輸入,才能有輸出,教師有積累才有指導的方向,學生有了積累才能寫出內容。名師出高徒,教師知道怎麼寫好英語作文,才能教學生,如果什麼是1+2模式,什麼是1+2+1等模式都不知道,那指導出的學生一定也是亂七八糟,沒有條理。在平日教師還要指導學生進行大量的積累,收集好詞佳句,背誦精典名篇。「讀書破萬卷,下筆如有神」,有了積累的源頭活水,才能流出一片汪洋。
總之,教師要想上好英語作文課,學生要想寫好英語作文,不是一蹴而就的事,必須要靠教師長期摸索,鼓勵學生堅持積累,對學生習作精心指導。
