Last Weekend

I had a happy weekend last week.
On Saturday morning, I watched TV and helped my mother wash clothes. In the afternoon, I cleaned three bedrooms in my house-- mine, my parents』 and my brother』s.
On Sunday, I played football in the park. Then I went to my grandparents』 home. Grandpa was playing the piano! The whole family was so happy. Later, we wanted to swim. But it was too cold to swim in the winter. So we didn't go to swim. We played chess together.
This was my last weekend, and I felt very happy.

last 用法

1、作為動詞

基本意思為「持續」、「耐久」。引申可表示「夠…之用，使得以維持下去，經受住」等。

last常用作不及物動詞，不接賓語，也不用於被動結構，通常由介詞for引起的時間狀語修飾，延續時間短時for可省略。

last的現在分詞lasting可用作形容詞，在句中作定語表示「持久的」。

2、作為名詞

last用作名詞時。其復數形式不變。

一般用完成時有時也用過去完成時還與介詞連用，如at。

last有最近過去的意思後可接week，month，Monday等，但不可以接morning等詞，如lastmorning應用yesterday morning來表示。

atlast的使用較at thelast來的普遍，與其同義的短語有at longlast和at the longlast，只是它們的程度更深一點，有「雖然經過了長時期」的含義。要注意的是，這幾種表達方式都表示時間，而不是「末了」。
