我的故鄉在商洛，那裡有成千上萬棵核桃樹，我最愛吃核桃。
春雨來臨，核桃樹貪婪的享受著大自然帶給他的一切。粗細不等的枝條在語錄中伸展開來，一片片嫩綠的葉子慢慢的張開小口，喝著天空中的雨水。
清明節過後，核桃樹開始結出小小的果實。
核桃圓圓的，個頭大小不一，渾身上下長滿斑點。它向士兵一樣也有盔甲，第一層是綠色的果肉般的外皮，第二層是堅硬的外殼，中間就是果仁了，果仁的樣子十分像大腦，外面還有一層黃黃的外皮。
核桃的外皮先是嫩綠，再變成翠綠，。然後就變成褐色的了。等到六月，它就成熟了，外面的那層皮也裂開了，刮一陣風就能聽見核桃掉在地上的聲音，拾一個起來，剝開褐色的外皮，咬開堅硬的外殼，就可以吃到油油的脆脆的香甜可口的果仁了。
核桃被稱為抗氧化之王，還有豐富的蛋白質，核桃還有補腦的作用，並含有人體必需的鈣、鐵等多種微量元素和礦物質，以及胡蘿卜素，核黃素，等多種維生素。
