Under subtropical and monsoon conditions, Zhejiang has four distinct seasons, and plentiful sunshine. It has an average annual temperature of 15.3-17.9℃, 230-270 frost-free days and an average annual rainfall of 1000-1900 mm. It has numerous rivers with an average annual surface water runoff of over 90 billion cubic meters.
