據資料記載:龍門石窟現存洞窟兩千四百三十五個,造像十萬余尊,碑刻題記共八百餘塊。此外,龍門石窟還保存著豐富的佛教藝術建築和書法等方面的實際資料,是人們公認的石刻藝術博物館。它和敦煌的莫高窟、大同的雲崗石窟被稱為我國的三大藝術寶庫。
龍門石窟有許多珍貴的歷史文化遺產:火燒洞、蓮花洞、摩崖三佛、吐火羅僧龕、千手千眼觀音龕等等、等等。在眾多佛窟中,我最喜歡的是雄偉、壯觀、體態最大、型態最美、藝術價值最高的露天石刻奉先寺。奉先寺的主尊佛像為盧舍那,聽講解員說:大佛高1714厘米,頭部400厘米,僅耳朵就長達190厘米,比一個人還要高出一截。在佛經中,盧舍那的含意是「諸惡皆除,眾德悉備,凈色遍照法界」,是佛在顯示美德時那種理想的化身。盧舍那一泓秋水般深邃的雙目向下俯視,默默傳導著他的安祥與慈愛。盧舍那全身著衣的雕刻,只是隨衣掛線,僅寥寥數筆,顯得朴實無華,洗煉流暢。我仰望著大佛,他面容飽滿,眉目修長,身披輕紗,一雙睿智的雙目向胸下俯視,似乎在向人們傳送著慈愛和安祥。我對的我們祖先竟能開創出這么高大、這么精美的大佛,實實令人嘖嘖稱奇。但令人可惜的是,這樣一尊庄嚴、樸素、美麗的大佛小臂以下,幾乎崩塌殆盡。盡管如此,可在人們的眼裡,依然泯滅不了盧舍那的美貌。反而讓人更感到了美的聯想,所以大佛盧舍那在世界的東方,永遠是一顆璀燦的藝術明珠。
在奉先寺,盧舍那是主尊佛,他的左側是她的大弟子迦葉。迦葉的刻石造像高1030厘米,立於履蓮束腰台上。現在的迦葉像已經十分殘破,但從殘存的面部依稀可見他飽經滄桑的神韻。
主尊佛盧舍那的右側,是釋加牟尼一位最小的弟子阿難。阿難刻像高1030厘米,赤著雙足,立於束腰台上。阿難出家時只有十幾歲,是個小王子,養尊處優。出家後,盡管經過磨煉,還是擺脫不掉少年的稚氣。他頭光圓,面頰豐滿,眉目疏朗,睿智中依然透出著幾分稚朴與憨厚,讓人看了憐愛之情油然而生。在奉先寺的佛像中,阿難的刻像算是保存得完好的了。除了他的雙手殘破外,其神態、外貌都雕刻的栩栩如生。
在正面三尊佛像的兩側,還有文殊和普賢兩位菩薩侍從待立。他們的面部豐滿圓潤,雙目俯視,雕刻精美細致。
除此而外,奉先寺的左右兩廂,各是一天王一力士,都是佛的護法神,雕刻的手法上同樣獨具匠心。天王頭束髻,戴寶冠,身披甲,面目威嚴,形象顯露出一個「武」字,力士兇悍怒目,令人望而生畏。這里的菩薩端莊、文雅,天王力士的威風凜凜,全讓我國古代勞動人民演義的淋漓盡致。
游覽完了龍門石窟西區,過了漫水橋,又看了東區的擂鼓台南洞,擂鼓台中洞,擂鼓台北洞,千手千眼觀音佛龕,香山寺和白園等景點後,我站在高處,俯視著龍景區的翠柏遍山與伊河北水相映,宛如看到了一幅美麗的畫圈,我感到我們古代勞動人民太偉大了。它使我們詳細了解了各個方面的歷史,為我們這些後代人留下了一份珍貴的文化遺產。當我了解到龍門石窟的文物,遭到美、英、日、法、德等國的文物盜竊者,在我國的民族敗類的協助下成功的盜竊到世界各地,被他們私人收藏或陳列在他們的國家博物館里時,多麼希望我們中華民族那些珍貴的文化遺產,能早日回到自己祖國。
