愛能使人懂得憂傷與痛苦，同時也能使人擺脫憂傷與痛苦，令平凡的生活充滿情趣與意義。英國著名詩人蘭德暮年時在一首詩中寫道：「我不和誰爭，和誰爭我都不屑，我熱愛大自然，其次就是藝術，我雙手烤著生命之火取暖，火萎了，我也准備走了……」蘭德的這首小詩表現了一個走進暮色的老人通達從容、積極樂觀的人生態度和寧靜淡泊、鉛華洗盡的人生境界。愛讓生活多份陽光，種樹的牧羊人不也正是如此嗎?
