7、東西半球的劃分：以20°W和160°E組成的經線圈為界；20°W以東、160°E以西為東半球；20°W以西、160°E以東為西半球。
8、能在地球儀上利用經、緯網確定地球上任何一個地點的位置。
9、地球的自轉：
方向：自西向東；周期：一天（24小時）；自轉中心：地軸。
地理意義：產生了晝夜更替和時間的差異。
10、地球的公轉：
公轉中心：太陽；方向：自西向東；周期：一年；公轉軌道：橢圓。
地理意義：產生了季節的變化和晝夜長短的變化。
11、五帶的劃分：
第二章：地圖
1、比例尺的表示方法：文字式、線段式、數字式
2、比例尺大小的比較：分母越大，比例尺越小；分母越小，比例尺越大。
3、比例尺越大，表示的范圍越小，內容越詳細；比例尺越小，表示的范圍越大，內容越簡單。
4、比例尺=圖上距離÷實地距離
5、地圖上方向的表示方法：
一般的地圖，用一般定向法：面向地圖，上北下南，左西右東。
有指向標的地圖，用指向標定向法：指向標的箭頭方向一般指向北方。
有經緯網的地圖，用經緯網定向法：經線指示南北方向，緯線指示東西方向。
6、圖例：地圖上表示各種地理事物的符號。（要記住常用的圖例）
7、注記：地圖上，用來說明山脈、河流、國家、城市等名稱的文字，以及表示山高、水深的數字。
8、海拔（絕對高度）：地球表面某一地點高出海平面的垂直距離。
相對高度：地球表面某一個地點高出另一地點的垂直距離。
等高線：在地圖上海拔高度相同點的連線。
9、在等高線地形圖上，等高線密集，表示坡度較陡；等高線稀疏，表示坡度較緩。
10、由等高線的特點判斷地形：
山頂：等高線中間高，四周低。
山脊：等高線向低處凸出。
山谷：等高線向高處凸出。
鞍部：兩側的等高線比較高。
陡崖：多條等高線重疊的地方。
第三章：世界的陸地和海洋
1、地球表面的水陸面積比例：海洋71%，陸地29%，三分陸地七分海洋。
2、七大洲：亞洲、非洲、北美洲、南美洲、南極洲、歐洲、大洋洲。（按面積由大到小排列）
四大洋：太平洋、大西洋、印度洋、北冰洋。（按面積由大到小排列）
能在世界地圖上准確找出七大洲、四大洋的分布。
3、大洲之間的分界線：
亞洲、歐洲：烏拉爾山、烏拉爾河、大高加索山、土耳其海峽。
亞洲、非洲：蘇伊士運河。
北美洲、南美洲：巴拿馬運河。
亞洲、北美洲：白令海峽。
4、陸地地形包括平原、高原、山地、丘陵、盆地五大類。
5、在地形圖上能找出喜馬拉雅山、科第勒拉山、青藏高原、亞馬孫平原。
6、閱讀大洲地形圖，判斷大洲的地形大勢。
7、板塊構造學說：地球表層的岩石圈由六大板塊拼合而成，分別是亞歐板塊、非洲板塊、印度洋板塊、太平洋板塊、美洲板塊、南極洲板塊。板塊的內部比較穩定，板塊的邊緣地殼運動比較活躍，容易形成火山和地震。
