困難可以為一個人的成功鋪下奠基石。相信大家都記得「昆蟲界的荷馬」——法布爾吧。在九十二個年華里，他曾經經歷過生活貧困，也遭到了他人的歧視，可外界的因素對他而言，只不過過眼煙雲，他把這些不利的因素轉換成強大的動力，將自己的一生奉給自然科學，獻給昆蟲世界。所以才寫成了科學著作——《昆蟲記》。他用傳神的畫筆繪下了一種種的昆蟲：「小小歌唱家」蟋蟀，「大力士」螞蟻，「勤奮」蜜蜂……法布爾為什麼會有如此之高的成就呢？這和他的勤奮、堅持是離不開的。有一次他不顧自身的安全去捉黃蜂，大膽猜測，勇於實驗……一次實驗失敗了，他又會整理實驗中的數據，認真地反思實驗的過程。法布爾的這一作風，讓我明白了什麼是真正的「科學精神」。所以說，磨練不是一件壞事，它可以賦予一個人頑強和不屈的品質。

從前有隻蝸牛，它想去看夢想中的大海。於是它就問雄鷹大海距離這里有多遠。雄鷹告訴它，依靠你的速度，要整整二十年呢！二十年！天哪，蝸牛根本就不敢想。蝸牛認為，二十年，我恐怕活不到那麼長時間。因此，它退縮了，可大海就是它的夢。它整日想啊想，最終抑鬱而死。可見，困難也是可以毀掉一個人的。因為他被「恐懼」這座大山壓在了身上。
也許，就是因為逆境的這種「正負性」，才造就了不同的人生吧。但是，苦難對一個人產生的影響是積極的，還是消極的，我認為這並不在於困難的大與小，而在於一個人是否擁有不屈不撓的鬥志。就像法布爾一樣，有著遠大目標的人，一次又一次的失敗對他來說應該是「小菜一碟」。苦難又算得什麼，不過一味苦苦的大補葯而已。記得語文書上有首小詩，是冰心奶奶寫的《成功的花》，裡面有段話，我是非常欣賞的：然而當初她的芽兒，浸透了奮斗的淚泉，灑遍了犧牲的血雨。看來，要想成功，磨練、苦難是不可避免的。常聽父親說：霧氣彌漫的清晨，並不意味著是一個陰霾的清晨。累累的創傷，就是生命給你的最好的東西，因為在每個創傷上，都標示著前進的一步。是的，沒有創傷的人生是不精彩的。正如溫室里那嬌滴滴的花，一經風雨就會彎下柔軟的細腰。但那室外的大樹呢，經歷了風吹雨打，反而更加挺拔，他們堅信，堅持就是勝利，為什麼要屈服於災難面前呢？所以，有著大樹這種品質的人，才真正是個人才，無愧於是個成功者。如果參照以上的這個結論，法布爾屬於「大樹」，還是「花兒」；蝸牛是棵「大樹」，還是一朵「小花」，不言而喻。
或許，在順境里往往比逆境更容易取得成功，但我們也可以主動一些，把逆境中的不利因素，通過某些方法，轉化成一些有利的條件，將這種負性變成正性，讓它們為我們將來的成功打好基礎，不是嗎？在這個改革開放、科技騰飛的新時代，我們更應把握好眼前的條件，面前的這一片光明，為自己崇高的理想而奮斗。
