In addition to that, DepEd must also be an advocate of what they believe in order for them to achieve better and the best results

To quote Banks and Banks (1995) idea, "multicultural ecation is an emerging discipline whose major aim is to create equal ecational opportunities to all students from diverse cultural groups.

One of its important role is to acquire knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed to function effectively in a pluralistic democratic society and to interact, negotiate,and communicate wit people from diverse groups in order to create a civic and moral community that works for the common good." Among the very important aspect of society, DepEd is one of the most important organization in promoting equality to all regardless of race, religion, and beliefs. They are the captain that leads people to be literate and be proctive in the society. One of its primary role is to select appropriate and top-rated textbooks that are acceptable and without pitfalls in terms of clerical error or stereotyping in any ways. But the irony was the controversial error of one textbook which was found out a few years ago.
In retrospect, how come such mistakes occur where in fact a lot of brilliant experts

who edit every textbook. With this dilemma, the ecation department must make it sure that they will follow the standard in choosing textbook in order to perfectly shape the mind of the Filipino learners. Text as we all know is very important in the learning process, students are useless without the textbook. There are many considerations in creating a book that is why people in the local or national ecation department must really follow the guidelines in order to have a better result in achieving the nation's goal towards literacy and development.

Communication is an important mean of expressing yourself because it exists different ways of expression and so different kind of communication depending on the culture you belong to .
The way of communicating will not be the same as other countries and it is important to know some values of other cultures and so of other ways of communicating for, first of all, avoiding some misunderstandings and then knowing better some aspects of different cultures .

That is why cross-cultural communication is an essential exercise to do; a person who come from a certain country does not necessarily get the same ideas about time, death, identity, as an other one from a different country because each person has its own identity .
First, a national identity, defned by a surname, a first name, citizenship, and a "personal" identity perceived as what are your activities, your opinions about issues or your experience in life .
Sometimes, your own identity can be modified or influenced by different factors, for example religion, your environment, your family.
The latter example seems to be a paradox because you can get your own opinions about something but you can be "influenced" by your familial surrounding or the society where you live(especially some notions that parents and even society teach you when you are a child, as patriotism or nationalism) .
This influence can replace your previous vision of life and changing your way of expressing yourself and so your way of communicating but you can also adapt this influence to your own way of thinking and it can be resulted in a different way of communicating .
In spite of a certain influence coming from a close surrounding, everyone can develop its own identity through its opinions and experience and this is interesting to notice that even within a close group of people, each person get different

This system greatly affects our way of life, as well as all aspects of the natural environment, from weather and climate, to wildlife and habitat.
