還記得有一次，全市舉行唱歌比賽。在比賽的前一天，我每時每刻都在聽我要唱的那首歌的錄音帶，當時我在想：這次比賽我一定要取得名次。以後，也要像閻維文一樣唱出更動聽的歌曲。
比賽當天，我的心都提到了嗓子眼裡，心怦怦直跳，怕自己出點意外，沒有名次。
時間一分一秒的過去了，在我前面的選手都已經比完了，而且是一個比一個好，我擔心我比不過他們。輪到我上場了，我面對著評委，心裡很緊張，我的手上全是汗，我從來都沒有這么緊張過。突然，我想到媽媽對我說的一句話：「兒子，別緊張，你只有在放鬆的情況下才能唱好歌，取不取得名次不要緊，你只要盡力了就行。」於是，我試著把自己的心情平靜下來。開始，我還是很緊張，有幾處高音的時候我沒有唱好，漸漸地我適應了周圍的環境，開始大膽地唱了起來。
評委們的臉上露出了笑容，我圓滿的唱完了這首歌。。過了幾天，發表成績了，我榮獲二等獎，我樂得直蹦高！
唱歌是我的課余愛好，也是我生活中不可缺少的一部分。它給我樂趣、喜悅，我愛唱歌。
