It had been a test and Paul's ink had run out. He had asked me for borrowing my pen. I had disagreed at first. But then he lightly said, "Please!" So I had just given him my pen. Then he had decided to make more friends, because their sharing would have warmed his heart.
I felt guilty when he finished the story. I hadn't been willing to lend him my pen, I had just thought that if I hadn't stopped him, the teacher would have thought we had been cheating. I never thought sharing was that important, it can even change someone and encourage him to be better!
