Wuhan, composed of the three towns of Wuchang, Hankou, and Hanyang, is the capital of Hubei Province. Wuhan has an old history and rich cultural traditions. It began to prosper as a commercial town about two thousand years ago, when it was called Yingwuzhou (Parrot beach). From the first century to the beginning of the third century, the towns of Hanyang and Wuchang began to take shape. During the Song Dynasty (960-1279), the area became one of the most prosperous commercial centers along the Yangtze River. By the end of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), Hankou had become one of the four most famous cities in China. Today, Wuhan is the political, economic, and cultural center of Central China. It boasts of one of China『s leading iron and steel complexes -- the Wuhan Iron and Steel Corporation. Wuhan is also a city with a strong revolutionary tradition.

我的家鄉是美麗的海濱城市汕頭！被稱為「海濱鄒魯，美食之鄉」。
汕頭是一個靠海的內城市容。這里四季如春，風景秀麗。有聞名的海灣大橋和相望的礐石大橋。有風景如畫的海濱長廊；長廊上有涼亭，石雕人物，花草樹木。人們有空就到長廊上散步，休息，觀賞美景。站在欄桿上隔海相望就看到對岸的礐石山隱隱約約映在眼中，可美麗了！
汕頭的廣場也是美麗的。時代廣場上有綠茵如毯的草坪。人民廣場有含苞欲放的花朵，美麗極了！晚上還有動聽的音樂噴泉，使人如痴如醉，流連忘返！

A Spring Outing
Spring came with all its glories. The new grass exposed its green colour. The pretty flowers opened their blossoms.We were tempted to go for an outing.
It was Sunday, the 20th of April. We set out very early on bikes, carrying bottles of champagne, beer and bags of cakes, bacon and cooked eggs. We rode along the winding paths in the fields, across the meadows and down the roads.The willow were fresh and green. The swallows were flying to and fro, up and down the sky. The birds, like musicians,snang their melodious songs in the trees, and the butterflies,like colorful dancers, were fluttering here and there. We breathed the fresh air deeply and laughed heartily.
At 10 a.m. we arrived at the foot of the $hushan Hill.We left our bikes with a bike-repairing shop and began to climb up the Hill. Near the top, under a big tree with luxuriant foliage we had our picnic. We drank and ate, talked and laughed. After the picnic we stood in the breeze with our hands on our waists, enjoying the fine landscape. Then we lay on the grass talking about our life and studies.
At about 4 p. m. , we returned with balmy greenness on our backs and freshness in our hearts.

May I have your attention,please?We will go spring outing this weekend.We'll meet at 8a.m. at the school gate and then we'll go to Qing and Taishan by bus.We'll stay in Tai'an for 2 days,and we'll also stay in Qing for 3 days.So this is a long journey.During the 5 days,we'll climb the mountain,go to the beach,visit many museums,taste some seafood,go shopping and take some photos.By the way,we should wear sports shoes and take a camera with ourselves
