Great changes have been take place in the city I am living in. 20 years ago, there were not so many cars, buildings or factories. It's almost quite everywhere. People go to sleep very early. We had farms, and we can plant fruit trees just behind or in front of our houses. We could go swimming in the small river not far from my house. However, it's all changed. No river or farm any more. Tall buildings and shopping malls took place of them. We can't swim in the river any longer, if we wan to, we need to go the the indoor swimming pools and pay for it. Different from the old days, we often stay up late, because we have so many entertainments which we can have to kill the time. Like singing and dancing in the KTV and pubs, or watching movies in the theatre, or having dinner together with friends in the 24-hour big restaurants. Or we can even stay at home playing computer games. Besides, the city pollution is worst than before, because more and more people are coming into this city, more and more instries have been set up, while not more trees as before.
Fast development brought us joys and also recalled us for the life in the old days sometimes. A good balance is needed urgently. We cannot let our next generation live in the polluted atmosphere which created by us.

about my future job
I have never thought of my future job before, not because I don't care, but because I don't even have a clue. This morning, when I woke up, suddenly, I felt a kind of worry.
If I work in a company, then the work wounld not exhaust my master's knowlege. Plus, it is very tough working in a company, much pressure and competition. If I work in a college, it would be boring to death. All day long, I have to deal with books and students. If i work in a law firm. it would be even tougher than in a company. I have to learn many things. I know then I will lose my own world and no fun at all.
I'm not sure whether it is a good choice of studying for a master's degree. I'm always writing papers, reading boring stuff...now I think i have trouble of getting a job. I don't even know what I wanna do in the near future.
It would be nice to go to Shanghai, but the pressure and competition are out of my imagination!
