那是小學六年級下學期的一天中午，下課鈴一響，早已飢腸轆轆的她，不亞於男生的速度，第一個向樓下跑去，只差三個台階了，她像往常一樣來了個三級跳，不巧，這次她沒發揮好，不慎跌倒在那裡。緊隨其後的同學見勢不妙，趕快前來扶她。她的左腳使勁地蹬，也未能站起來，豆大的汗珠兒，從她額頭上躺了下來。平時愛逗的阿軍也被嚇的沒了笑容，趕快吩咐大塊頭阿勝說：「還遲疑什麼？趕快背她去醫務室！」大塊頭阿勝毫不遲疑地將她送往醫務室。醫務人員見狀說：「不妙!」趕快給我們班主任老師打電話說；「通知學生家長趕快來，怕是骨折。」她一聽，頓時，差點癱在哪裡，天呀！不久就要期末考試了，這可怎麼辦？
沒多會兒，她的爸媽趕來，把她送往醫院，拍片結果，左腳一處骨折。堅強的她難以控制住自己，竟然痛哭起來，傷筋動骨一百天，還怎麼參加考試呀。她媽媽安慰她說：「安心養傷，先別想考試的事了。」「不行！」倔強的她對她媽媽說。打好石膏，她爸媽為她取完葯回到家裡，她卻說：「明天去上課」「傻孩子，你已這樣，怎能做得到呢？」她媽媽說著眼淚都掉了下來。「您放心只要您們能接送我，其它的您們就不用管了。」她堅持己見地說。
轉天，她媽媽拗不過，只好把她送到學校，背進教室。這一幕，同學們都看呆了。她的堅強感動了同分學們，大家紛紛地說：「阿姨，有我們了，您放心地去上班吧！就這樣二十幾天如一日，同學們有為她打飯的，有為她打水的，還有替她收作業的。終於熬到了期末考試那一天，功夫不負有心人，這次考試的成績出來了。她仍然考了全年級第一。這怎能不令人敬佩呢？
