Some suggestions of how to set up a writing tutorial
It's a good idea to know how the students going with their writings by telling them to write some opinions about the writing class. I hope I am not doing too bad in this one.
First I would like to say is that English should be the language we use in class since you cannot really understand or speak Chinese. As vocabulary is really an important factor to set up a foundation for good writings, random wordlist or grouped words for a certain topic could be handed out to help the accumulation. Though the lists could be ignored since it's nothing to do with the exam, some scaring quiz could be taken into consideration to draw attention.
Second is to introce some basic structure which doesn't have to be essay level, but be professional. Love letters, post cards or even dear jack letters could be interesting topics and at the same time, really useful.
Lastly should be practices. No one will gain real skills unless they practice and there is an old saying called 'practices make perfect'. That's really old but definitely telling the truth.
Those are my suggestions. Hope you do have a lot of fun in class. We all love you.

又是一個雨天，望著窗外的雨，我猛然記起了那個外教。
那天，也是一個雨天。我們的最後一節課是口語課，我們都很興奮，在座位上一分一秒的盼望著。
上課鈴已經打響了，可遲遲不見那外教來。我們不禁有些擔心，外教會不會不來了呢？那可就太沒勁了！就在我們思緒萬千時，一個穿著黑色衣服的人闖了進來，我們都被嚇了一跳，都驚叫起來。沒想到，那人不緊不慢，對我們說了一句硬邦邦的漢語：「不要害怕，我是你們的外教。」
我們都哈哈大笑起來。也許是出於好奇，我那堂課聽得特別認真。外教在堂課提問的問題都是搶答題，由於我特別認真，幾乎每道題都是我搶答的。一堂課下來，外教就認識了我。
第二天下了第一節課，我在操場上走著，突然碰上了昨天的外教，我熱情的對他打招呼，他也回復我以一個溫暖的微笑。我走上前去，和他聊了聊天。問了問他關於英國的一些名勝古跡，天氣情況等一些我認為和感興趣的事。他都一一回答了，雖然我有些沒聽懂，但我還是能夠猜出來大體意思的。
又是一節口語課，我的激情都散發出來了。整節課，外教幾乎是都在叫我回答問題，有些回答不上來，就只好用英語對他說一聲：「對不起，我不知道。」最後，他讓我問他幾個問題。
我想，剛才有的問題我都回答不上來。我也要出幾個難題，讓他也回答不上來。我的第一個問題是你喜歡中國嗎？他說：「是的，我很喜歡！」第二個問題是你喜歡我們嗎？他還是回答，是的，我很喜歡！我心中暗暗地拍手叫好，心想難題來了。第三個問題是：你到底是喜歡中國還是喜歡我們？外教一時半會兒回答不上來，我開始催他，讓他快點兒。他最後竟說了一句：「我誰都不喜歡！」逗得全班人哈哈大笑，讓我也啞口無言。
第三天，也是外教來我們學校的最後一天。他問我：「你昨天為什麼問我那麼奇怪的問題？」我用漢語式的英語對他生硬的說：「出於好奇！」他聳聳肩，嘿嘿一笑，表示很無奈。最後一堂口語課，外教問我們還有什麼問題問他或有什麼祝福送給他。我站起來，問了他：「你會想我們嗎？」他說：「肯定的！」
每次的雨天，我的眼前都會浮現出那個外教的身影。
