On April 28th, my classmates and I went to the park near my school where we took part in a volunteer labor. We got there at nine o'clock. After divided into three groups, we began to work. Each group had their own tasks. Group one planted trees and watered flowers. Group Two picked up litter left by tourists and cleaned the benches. My group wiped all the equipment in Children's Playground. Each of us worked hard. At about half past eleven, we finished working. Though we were tired,we were happy. 說起假日，同學們一定都很喜愛，假日里的趣事也是無窮無盡的，令人嚮往，令人回味。「五一」這幾天，我就經歷了許多趣事，但令我印象最深的，還是跟爸爸去釣魚。
我們來到池塘邊，爸爸首先打開他的漁具包，裡面的釣魚用具一應俱全。他將魚鉤、魚漂、魚線和魚餌拴在魚竿上，我呢，也拿起這些用具學著爸爸做起來。
開始釣魚了，爸爸對我說：「釣魚要有耐心，否則是掉不到魚的。首先要上好魚餌，然後扔向水中，如果魚漂在動，就表示魚來了，但是這時不能提魚竿，因為魚還沒有吃，只是試探一下。如果魚漂沉下去或者浮起來，表示魚已經吃鉤了，這時就可以提竿了。」我不耐煩地回答說：「知道了！」心想：我一定釣一條大魚讓你看看！我們便開始釣魚了，起先我還能耐著性子釣，可越等越不耐煩，一條魚都沒靠近魚竿，更別說上鉤了，我便一氣之下扔下魚竿跑到別處玩去了。
等我大漢淋漓地回來，爸爸都已經釣到兩三條魚了，可是看看我，只有光禿禿的魚鉤，連魚餌都被魚吃掉了。沒辦法，我只好再拿起魚竿釣起來，可是魚總不上鉤，像是在和我作對似的。我見自己釣不上來，便賭氣地拿起石頭往水裡扔，魚都被我嚇跑了，爸爸也釣不上來，我哈哈大笑。這下，可氣壞了爸爸，他讓我只能坐在那兒不能動，大家都知道我是個好動的人，讓我坐一個上午哪行呢，可爸爸的「任務」我不敢違抗，只有坐了，這滋味就簡直到了生不如死的境界。正當我無聊的時候，我的魚漂動起來了，我急忙拉竿，可怎麼也拉不動，於是，我便叫爸爸來幫忙。經過一場「拔河比賽」之後，終於把它拉上來了。一看，哇！好大的魚啊！這恐怕是池塘里最大的一條魚了，我們把它放進早已裝滿水的塑料桶里。它還在裡面不停地潑水呢。爸爸見了，用贊許的目光看著我，好像在說：「嗯，不錯，繼續努力吧！」
萬事開頭難，有了第一次的成功，我更是信心十足。水面常常泛起漣漪，一條，兩條……我的心裡甭提有多高興了。
