According to the recent report, The English test will be removed from China』s college entrance exam in the near future, which has aroused public concern and a heated discussion. Some people support that the reform can help students alleviate study pressure and change China』s once-in-a-lifetime exam system. While others show great concern about its negative effect, especially under the background of globalization, on English teaching in elementary and middle schools.
Personally speaking, i an in favor of the English reform. There are some reasons accounting for my view.
