蚂蚁的救助

一个下午，我给放在阳台上的几盆花木浇水。在浇石榴时，看到有几只黄蚂蚁浮在水面上，挣扎着。我知道，蚂蚁虽不会游泳，但它们是些生命力极强的小生灵。我没有对它们实施救援，因为花盆中的水几分钟后就会洇下去，蚂蚁们就可以自由着陆了，决无生命危险的。
不一会，水没有了。几只蚂蚁在湿漉漉的泥土上又恢复了正常活动，但有两只不幸的黄蚂蚁被湿泥埋住了半个身子，在那里努力挣扎着向外爬，可又爬不出来。我想，我应该救助一下这两个遇难者了。我必须找一个细小的工具，不然，用手指或稍微粗大的棍棒，都可能将救助变成杀生。
但是，就在此时，一件意想不到的事情发生了：当我从室内取了一枚大头针走出来时，发现两只被埋的蚂蚁同时被另两只它们的同伴在救助着。那两只来救助的黄蚂蚁都在用力向外拉扯着它们的同类。我放弃了与两只英勇救助同伴的黄蚂蚁争功的机会，静静观察着这个夏天让我的感动的一幕生命故事。
一只蚂蚁先被同伴救了出来。另一只在救助者的努力拉扯下，也从泥土中挣出了身子。它们在小心翼翼向四周探试了一番后，便迅速地逃离了。奇怪的是有一只救援的黄蚂蚁，在救出同伴后并没有一起离开，而是在救助现场的泥土上，继续衔咬着泥土，似乎下面还有什么东西被埋着。我想看个究竟，就没有打扰它。不久，我看到有一对小小的触角晃动着露了出来，不仔细看几乎发现不了，原来下面还有一只它遇难的伙伴。这次我必须帮助它们了，因为这场水灾是我造成的，我在这些小小生灵面前是负有责任，甚至可以说是有罪过的。
极其小心地，我用针尖挑开泥土，果然有一只小蚂蚁露了出来。救助的黄蚂蚁看到同伴后，立即上前去亲吻触抚，并试图把它衔走。这时被救的蚂蚁已恢复过来，与救助的蚂蚁互相用触角碰了一下，便一起爬开了。
我不是昆虫行为学家，不知道蚂蚁的救助行为是一种偶然还是自然的本能？但我觉得在这一点上，它们确实表现出了一种人类所想要达到的道德理想。当然，它们比人类做得更好更单纯，因为它们没有功利意识和附加条件。
